The Israeli “Channel 12” reported that the Emirates no longer aims to hide the nature of its relations with “Israel”, as it has openly started to progress towards deepening strategic alliance with it”.
The channel mentioned that Abū Zabī chose to expand the alliance that “includes operational partnership on the ground”, confirming that “the Emirates has become today the closest Arab partner of Israel”.
In the same context the “Financial Times” newspaper revealed on Friday that “Israel” sent advanced weapons systems to the Emirates to help “confronting the Iranian missiles and drones”.
Also, “Israel” provided important and immediate intelligence informations to the Emirates according to the Financial Times, when a regional official said that “this presence was one of the first examples of a major defense cooperation between them”.
On Saturday the American State Department announced its position about a series of possible weapons and advanced military equipment sales to “Israel”, Qatar, Kuwait and the Emirates with a total value of billions of dollars.
This comes after an Israeli report had revealed that deployment of an air defense battery with the Israeli operation crew within the Emirates during the aggression against Iran.

أفادت “القناة 12” الإسرائيلية بأن الإمارات لم تعد تسعى إلى إخفاء طبيعة علاقاتها مع “إسرائيل”، إذ باتت تتجه بشكل معلن نحو “تعميق التحالف الاستراتيجي معها”.
وذكرت القناة أن أبوظبي اختارت توسيع هذا التحالف لـ “يشمل شراكة عملياتية على الأرض”، مؤكدةً أن “الإمارات باتت الشريكة العربية الأقرب لإسرائيل اليوم”.
وفي سياق متصل، كشفت صحيفة “فايننشل تايمز” أول من أمس، عن إرسال “إسرائيل” أنظمة أسلحة متطورة إلى الإمارات للمساعدة في “صد الصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة الإيرانية”.
كذلك، قدمت “إسرائيل” معلومات استخبارية مهمة وفورية للإمارات، وفقاً لـ “فايننشل تايمز”، فيما قال مسؤول إقليمي للصحيفة إن “هذا الانتشار كان أحد الأمثلة الأولى على التعاون الدفاعي الكبير بينهما”.
وأمس، أعلنت الخارجية الأميركية عن موافقتها على سلسلة من الصفقات المحتملة لبيع أسلحة ومعدات عسكرية متطوّرة لكلّ من “إسرائيل” وقطر والكويت والإمارات، بقيمة إجمالية تقدّر بمليارات الدولارات.
