High ranking officers of more than five Arab states met in secret in Bahrain with the Chief of Staff of the Israeli “army” Hertzi Halevy under American supervision and the main topic was: “the joint cooperation in the air defense field”.

The American “Axios” website revealed that Chief of Staff of the Israeli “army” Hertzi Halevy met with high ranking Arab officers in Bahrain “to discuss the regional security cooperation”.
The website pointed out that the meeting was “itself a signal that the military dialogue between Israel and the Arab states is continuing within the frame of the American Central Command despite the public criticism and condemnation of the Israeli army within the context of the war on Gaza”. Thus according to “Axios” the Chief of Staff had met this week in Bahrain “with his counterpart from a number of Arab armies to discuss the regional security cooperation”.
The meeting that was held under the auspices of Commander of the American Army’s Central Command Eric Corrilla was kept far from the limelight and was not publicly disclosed due to the regional political sensitivities surrounding the war on Gaza, in which aside from Corrilla and Halevy high ranking general took part from Bahrain, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt.
According to the “Axios” website one of the main topics the American Army’s Central Command and the Pentagon was working on with the armies of the region during the last few years was “the cooperation on the fields of air defense and missile defense that took a special importance in light of the Iranian response and attempts to confront it. That matter was dealt with by cooperation between the United States, Great Britain and Jordan”.
The American officials commented the meeting saying that “the cooperation with Israel and the Arab states in the region managed to gather intelligence information about the Iranian attack”.
They also added that this cooperation “also involves the participation of Jordan and Saudi Arabia in an attempt to counter the missiles and drones that are being launched from Iran, Iraq and Yemen towards Israel and passing through their airspace”.
This meeting comes at a time when “Israel” wages its aggressive war and mass extermination against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, while the “casualties of the aggression raised up to more than 37200 martyrs and 84930 wounded”, according to the latest numbers announced by the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip”.

كشف موقع “إكسيوس“، الأميركي، لقاء رئيس هيئة أركان “الجيش” الإسرائيلي، هرتسي هاليفي، بكبار الضباط العرب، في البحرين، “لبحث التعاون الأمني الإقليمي”.
وأشار الموقع إلى أنّ اللقاء كان “بمثابة إشارة إلى أن الحوار العسكري، بين إسرائيل والدول. العربية، مستمر في إطار القيادة المركزية الأميركية على الرغم من الانتقادات العلنية، والإدانات للجيش الإسرائيلي في سياق الحرب على غزة”. إذ التقى رئيس الأركان، في وقت سابق من هذا الأسبوع، في البحرين، بحسب “إكسيوس”، “مع. نظرائه من عدة جيوش عربية لمناقشة التعاون الأمني الإقليمي”.

وأضافوا أن هذا التعاون “يشمل أيضاً مشاركة الأردن والسعودية، في محاولات اعتراض الصواريخ. والطائرات بدون طيار التي تطلق من إيران والعراق واليمن باتجاه إسرائيل والمرور عبر مجالهم الجوي”.
