Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī and Iraqi Prime Minister Muḥammad Šayyā‘ as-Sūdānī confirm that Iran and Iraq both support the Palestinian people in their cause urgently demanding that all Islamic countries take the same position.

During a tele conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Muḥammad Šayyā‘ as-Sūdānī Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī confirmed that the joint position between Tehran and Baghdad against the Israeli Entity “reflects the bonds between the two peoples”.

The Iranian President thanked the Iraqi government for its condolences with the Iranian state and people, and for issuing a statement condemning the terrorist and criminal act taken by the Israeli Entity, considering it a clear violation of the principle of immunity to the diplomatic places.

He also underlined that the Israeli Entity “will pay a huge price” following its terrorist crime, pointing out that Iran and Iraq both support the Palestinian people in their cause and the that it is imperative that all Islamic countries take a similar position.

On his behalf Iraqi Prime Minister Muḥammad Šayyā‘ as-Sūdānī expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of Brigadier General Zāhedī and his companions at the Iranian consulate in Damascus, confirming that this criminal act is the result “of the scandalous and continued failures of the criminal Israeli Entity against the resistance in the region”.

As-Sūdānī added: “We are in trust that the define and final victory will be of the Islamic resistance in light of the envisioned strategies of Iran”, thanking Tehran for the stabile support for Iraq and for strengthening the peace and the stability.

As-Sūdānī also confirmed the interest of the Iraqi government to strengthen the relations and the strategic relationship between Tehran and Baghdad.

الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي ورئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع السوداني، يؤكدان. أن إيران والعراق تدعمان الشعب الفلسطيني في قضيته، مطالبين بضرورة أن تتخذ كل الدول الإسلامية مثل هذه المواقف

أعلنت السفارة الروسية في إريتريا، أن الجانبين ناقشا مسألة تطوير التعاون العسكري التقني. الثنائي في ميناء “مصوع” الإريتري على البحر الأحمر.

أكّد الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي، في اتصالٍ هاتفي، مع رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع. السوداني، أنّ المواقف المشتركة لطهران وبغداد ضد الكيان الإسرائيلي “تعكس التلاحم بين الشعبين”.

وشكر الرئيس الإيراني، الحكومة العراقية، على تعاطفها مع إيران حكومة وشعباً، وإصدارها بياناً لإدانة. العمل الإرهابي والجريمة التي ارتكبها الكيان الإسرائيلي باعتباره انتهاكاً واضحاً لمبدأ حصانة الأماكن الدبلوماسية.

كما شدّد على أنّ الكيان الإسرائيلي “سيتكبّد ثمناً باهظاً” جزاء على جريمته الإرهابية، لافتاً إلى أنّ إيران. والعراق تدعمان الشعب الفلسطيني في قضيته، ومن الضروري أن تتخذ كل الدول الإسلامية مثل هذه المواقف.

من جهته، عزّى رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع السوداني باستشهاد العميد زاهدي ورفاقه في القنصلية. الإيرانية في دمشق، مؤكّداً أنّ هذا العمل الإجرامي نتيجة “الإخفاقات الفاضحة والمتتالية للكيان الإسرائيلي الإجرامي أمام المقاومة في المنطقة

وأضاف السوداني: “نحن واثقون من أن النصر الحاسم والنهائي سيكون للمقاومة الإسلامية في ظل. الاستراتيجات الواعدة لإيران”، شاكراً طهران على الدعم المستدام للعراق لتعزيز السلام والاستقرار.

كذلك، أكّد السوداني اهتمام الحكومة العراقية بتعزيز العلاقات والتعاون الاستراتيجي بين طهران وبغداد
