The spokesman of the “American Central Command” announced on Thursday that the international coalition investigates the incident by a drone in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

The Russian “Sputnik” news agency reported from the spokesman that “an incident by a drone (yesterday, Wednesday) affected the diplomatic support center in Baghdad”, adding that “the investigation is ongoing about the incident and more information will be made available as soon as they are received”.
Previously yesterday night the security media unit announced that Baghdad international airport was targeted by three drones, while was downed. It was not mentioned whether the attack caused human or material losses, but it was confirmed that the details will be revealed about the other two drones later.
A security source revealed to the Šafaq News Agency yesterday that the American forces present in the Victoria military base in the Baghdad international airport managed to down a drone. This came shortly after the base suffered a missile attack.

وفي وقت سابق، من ليلة امس، أعلنت خلية الإعلام الأمني في العراق أنه تم استهداف مطار بغداد الدولي بثلاث طائرات مسيرة وتم إسقاط طائرة، دون ذكر ما إذا كان الهجوم قد أوقع خسائر بشرية أو مادية، مؤكدة انه سيتم الكشف عن التفاصيل، بشأن الطائرتين المتبقيتين لاحقاً
