Chief of Staff of the Algerian army as-Sa‘īd Šanqrīḥa calls upon the members of the armed forces to take part in the legislative elections scheduled to be held on 12 June this year.
Chief of Staff of the Algerian army Lieutenant General as-Sa‘īd Šanqrīḥa called upon the members of the armed forces to take part in the legislative elections and “to be keen on foiling any plans that might jeopardize it”.
Lieutenant General Šanqrīḥa described elections scheduled to be held on 12 this June as the “most crucial national event for the Algerian people”.
President of the Algerian Justice and Development Front Party ‘Abd Allah Ğāb Allah today, on Tuesday threatened with boycotting the legislative elections warning about the “negative effect” by the represented in the boycott and said that: “gradual slow but useful reform can be achieved by participating and voting in this election”.
The official spokesman of the Algerian government ‘Ammār bil-Ḥaymar also said that the next legislative elections count as “a crucial landmark in the building of a new Algeria”, calling for elections.
Previously the Algerian Socialist Forces Front called for boycotting the legislative elections because they “don’t constitute a solution for the crises”, which the country faces.
