Breaching the agreement, which was made with Russian supervision yesterday, on Tuesday sources of al-Mayadeen confirm that the “Qasad” have detailed civilians and soldiers and prevents the flour from getting into the center of al-Ḥasaka city.
Sources of al-Mayadeen confirmed that the “Syrian Democratic Forces [Quwwāt Sūriyya ad-Dīmuqrāṭiyya – Qasad] detained a number of civilians and soldiers along the al-Qāmišlī – al-Ḥasaka road.
Sources of al-Mayadeen pointed out today, Wednesday that “the Qasad closed down a number of streets in al-Ḥasaka and al-Qāmišlī preventing the movement of civilians and soldiers”.
The sources also explained that Qasad “prevents the flour from entering into the central neighborhoods of al-Ḥasaka city for the eighth consecutive day”, considering that these measures “threaten to end the understanding, which happened yesterday under Russian supervision”.
It should be mentioned that “Qasad” yesterday, on Tuesday opened the roads, which it closed 20 days prior in the center of al-Ḥasaka city and two neighborhoods of “Ḥulakū” and “Ṭayy” in the city of al-Qāmišlī. Thus the food and fuel supplies started to pour in and it was supposed that within few hours flour will follow to resupply the bakeries.
The vehicles also started to move in and out in these areas, so that the conditions would return to how they were before the siege. All military presence, which appeared in the last 20 days also was also pulled back.
Governor of al-Ḥasaka Major General Ġassān Ḥalīm Halīl in a statement to “al-Mayadeen net” confirmed that “the agreement happened with Russian supervision on the basis that governmental measures were taken in Aleppo, knowing that all talks about a siege against aš-Šayh Maqṣūd neighborhood in Aleppo and the region of Tall Rif‘at in Northern Aleppo province are completely refuted and all available materials in Aleppo are also available in these areas”.

مصادر الميادين، أشارت اليوم الأربعاء إلى أنّ “قسد أغلقت عدداً من الشوارع في الحسكة والقامشلي أمام حركة مرور المدنيين والعسكريين
وأوضحت المصادر أيضاً أنّ قسد “تمنع دخول الطحين إلى أحياء وسط مدينة الحسكة لليوم الثامن على التوالي”، معتبرةً أنّ هذه الإجراءات “تهدد بإنهاء التفاهم الذي حصل يوم أمس برعاية روسيّة
يذكر أنّ قوات “قسد” فتحت أمس الثلاثاء، الطرقات التي أغلقتها منذ نحو 20 يوماً في أحياء وسط الحسكة وحيي “حلكو” و”طي” في مدينة القامشلي، مع بدء دخول المواد الغذائية والمحروقات، وتوقعات بالمباشرة خلال الساعات القادمة بإدخال الطحين تمهيداً لإعادة إقلاع الأفران
كما بدأت الآليات بالدخول والخروج من وإلى هذه المناطق، لتعود الأمور إلى ما كانت عليه قبل الحصار. وتمّ سحب كافة المظاهر العسكريّة التي استجدت خلال أيام الحصار العشرين
وأكد محافظ الحسكة اللواء غسان حليم خليل في تصريح لـ الميادين نت أن “الاتفاق تمّ برعاية روسيّة، على أساس اتخاذات اجراءات حكوميّة في حلب، علماً أن أيّ حديث عن حصار لحي الشيخ مقصود ومنطقة تل رفعت بريف حلب الشمالي منفيّ تماماً، وكل المواد المتوفرة في حلب تتوفر في هذه المناطق أيضاً
