Deputy Secretary of the Emirati supported Transitional Council Hānī ibn Barīk brings attention to the role of the southern forces taking part on the sides of the Coalition in the battles in Yemen. The Foreign Minister in President’s Hādī’s government warns about the measures of the Council.
Deputy Secretary of the Emirati supported Transitional Council Hānī ibn Barīk said in a tweet on Twitter that “was it not of the southern forces the Coalition wouldn’t have been able to liberate an inch of land”, viewing that airplanes don’t win battles.
Ibn Barīk confirmed that after 5 years the Coalition couldn’t have liberated one signal northern province completely, pointing out that in the last few months al-Ğawf and Nihim fell, while Ma’ariv is still fought for, according to his description.
He also viewed that they moved out to defend their lands, at “a time when the government fell apart in it, and not Saudi Arabia, nor the Emirates pledged themselves to intervene”.
On the other hand, the Advisor of the Yemeni President, ‘Abd al-Malik al-Halāfī conformed that the Transitional Council is acting emotionally, it expresses feeble and provincial emotions and that “is a mean to halt, not a mean to construct”.
Al-Halāfī considered that “the Transitional Council halted the life and the services in ‘Adan and caused chaos, believing that the stability and the provision of services will create unity, while will chaos lead to success in its call for breaking away”.
Al-Halāfī viewed that “there is a chance ahead of the Transitional Council to retract its policy the radicals and the feeble-minded ones pushed for”. Also bringing attention to that the Transitional [Council] has to take it back what it had announced and has to announce its immediate and serious adherence to the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, and all is proxies accordingly.
On his own term, the Foreign Minister in President Hādī’s government Muḥammad al-Ḥaḍarmī said the Transitional Council has to cancel its blind statement and has to return to serious measures now, warning that if the Transitional Council does not cancel its measures, then it and its supporters will not only bare the responsibility for undermining the Riyadh Agreement, but also for undermining the whole peace process in Yemen.
In this context al-Ḥaḍarmī believed that the government strived wit hall seriousness to execute all the vows of the Riyadh Agreement and started to implement it, while the Transitional [Council] “stabbed it on the back”, according to his description.

قال نائب رئيس المجلس الانتقالي المدعوم إمارتياً هاني بن بريك في تغريدة له على “تويتر” إنه “لولا القوات الجنوبية لما استطاع التحالف أن يحرر شبراً من الأرض”، معتبراً أن الطائرات لا تحسم معركة
وأكد بن بريك أنه بعد 5 سنوات لم يستطع التحالف تحرير محافظة شمالية بالكامل، مشيراً إلى أنه في الشهور الأخيرة سقطت الجوف ونهم فيما مأرب لا تزال مهددة، وفق تعبيره
كما رأى أنهم خرجوا دفاعاً عن أرضهم، في “وقت فرت فيه الحكومة ولم يكن هناك وعد من السعودية ولا الإمارات بالتدخل
في المقابل، أكد مستشار الرئيس اليمني عبد الملك المخلافي أن المجلس الانتقالي انفعالي ويعبر عن مشاريع صغيرة وقروية وأنه “أداة تعطيل لا أداة بناء
واعتبر المخلافي أن “المجلس الانتقالي عطل الحياة والخدمات في عدن وصنع الفوضى، اعتقاداً أن الاستقرار وتقديم الخدمات سيرسخان الوحدة والفوضى ستؤدي إلى نجاح دعوته في الانفصال
المخلافي رأى أن “أمام المجلس الانتقالي فرصة لمراجعة سياساته التي يدفعه لها المتطرفون وقصار النظر”، لافتاً إلى أنه يجب على الانتقالي أن يعلن تراجعه عما أقدم عليه ويعلن انخراطه الفوري والجاد في تطبيق اتفاق الرياض كما هو و بكل جوانبه
من جهته، قال وزير الخارجية اليمني في حكومة الرئيس هادي محمد الحضرمي إنه على المجلس الانتقالي إلغاء بيانه المتهور والرجوع لجادة الصواب الآن، محذراً إذا لم يلغِ المجلس الانتقالي إجراءاته فسيتحمل وداعميه ليس مسؤولية تقويض اتفاق الرياض بل تقويض عملية السلام في اليمن
وفي السياق، اعتبر الحضرمي أن الحكومة سعت بكل جد إلى تنفيذ كل مقتضيات اتفاق الرياض وقامت بتنفيذ ما عليها مقابل “تعنت” الانتقالي، وفق تعبيره
