On Monday officials spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmā‘īl Baqā’ī denies the claims about Iranian officials sending a message to American President Donald Trump, confirming this as “an absolute lie”.
In his weekly press conference Baqā’ī explained that some news are “not accurate” coming “within the frame of media war against Iran with the goal of misleading the public opinion”.
This comes after the media talked about the claim of American envoy Steve Witkoff played “a mediating role between the United States and Iran”, as “he delivered a message form Iranian Fo Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī to Trump including a hand written letter from Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān in an attempt to convince Trump to postpone and military action”. Thus according to what was claimed.
“Iran will decisively respond to any violation against the sovereignty of the state”
In this context Baqā’ī underlined that Iran “trusts its capabilities and its power is bigger the any time before and will give a comprehensive response even more painful to any aggression”.
He explained that his country “never welcomed war, but it is serious about its self defense, as it will remain idle against any aggression”.
He pointed out that Tehran “takes all diplomatic efforts”, but its “armed forces will decisively respond to any violations against the sovereignty of the state”.
Baqā’ī pointed out that the United States “is usually not committed to the international laws”, and warns against violating these law “as it will have reprehensible consequences on the international community”.
“The defense cooperation with China and Russia is a strategic affair”
About the defense cooperation between Iran, China and Russia Baqā’ī confirmed it as “a strategic matter” and not new, strongly ongoing.
He also pointed out that Iran “is in contact with China and Russia to further discuss the international developments”.
“What is happening in certain American cities is a violation of the human rights”
Commenting what is happening in certain American cities, the aggression by the police against the American citizens, Baqā’ī said that these “count to be outrageous human rights violations”.
He added “that Washington claiming to support the human rights in other states first of all must be committed on its own lands monitor the violence of the police in its own country”.
“Iran is not intervening in the internal affairs of Iraq”
About the recent American statements about the closeness of Iraqi Prime Minister candidate Nūrī al-Mālikī and Iran Baqā’ī outlined that his country and “contrary to the United States”, does not interfere with the Iraqi internal affairs and respects the decision of the Iraqi people”.
“The policies of the European Parliament is irresponsible”
Similarly Baqā’ī responded to the decision of the European Parliament against the Revolutionary Guards saying that that the accusation brought against the Iranian armed forces “violate the international law”.
He also underlined that “the policies of the European Parliament are irresponsible and has repercussion”.
“We support the territorial unity and sovereignty of Syria”
As for the region Baqā’ī said that Iran stresses the “need for the Syrian territorial integrity and sovereignty” and considers was has recently happened in Syria “a lesson of experience for the allies of America”.
Also, Iran condemns the American intervention in Syria and confirms “the need to strengthen the security of West Asia”. This is what Baqā’ī confirmed.

نفى المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، إسماعيل بقائي، اليوم الاثنين، مزاعم. إرسال المسؤوليين الإيرانيين رسالة إلى الرئيس. الأميركي دونالد ترامب، مؤكّداً أنه “كذب بالمطلق”.
وفي مؤتمره الصحافي الأسبوعي، أوضح بقائي أنّ بعض. الأخبار “غير الدقيقة” تأتي “ضمن الحرب الإعلامية ضد. طهران، وهدفها تضليل الرأي العام”.
أتى ذلك بعدما تحدثت وسائل إعلامية عن تأدية المبعوث الأميركي ستيف ويتكوف “دور. الوسيط بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران”، حيث. “نقل إلى ترامب رسالة من وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس. عراقتشي، مرفقة بضمان خطي من الرئيس الإيراني مسعود. بزشكيان، في محاولة لإقناع ترامب بتأجيل أي عمل عسكري”، وفق ما زعمت.

“التعاون الدفاعي مع الصين. وروسيا أمر استراتيجي“
وبشأن التعاون الدفاعي بين إيران والصين وروسيا، فأكّد. بقائي أنّه “أمر استراتيجي، وليس جديد، ومستمر. بقوة”.
كما لفت إلى أنّ إيران “على تواصل مع. الصين وروسيا لمناقشة آخر المستجدات الدولية”.

وتعليقاً على ما يحدث في بعض المدن الأميركية من عنف من قبل الشرطة. تجاه المواطنين الأميركيين، قال بقائي إنّ ذلك “يعدّ. انتهاكاً صارخاً لحقوق الإنسان”.
وأضاف أنّ “على واشنطن، التي تدعي دعم حقوق الإنسان. في الدول الأخرى، أن تلتزم أولاً على أرضها، وتراقب. التعامل العنيف للشرطة في بلادها”.
“إيران لا تتدخل في الشأن. الداخلي العراقي“
