A media site belonging to the Kurds announces that Saudi Arabia cut its support for “Qasad” and the Kurdish autonomy to appease Turkey. Also, American reconnaissance planes arrived given by the American Coalition for “Qasad” allegedly to “monitor the movement of Dā‘iš”.
To the eastern countryside of Dayr az-Zūr, a number of reconnaissance planes have arrived, which were given by the International Coalition lead by the United States, as part of the military and logistical support for the Dayr az-Zūr Military Council belonging to the “Qasad” Syrian Democratic Forces.
According to local sources talking to al-Mayadeen, “these planes aim to monitor the movement of the Dā‘iš cells in the region, which lately witnessed an escalating activity”.
The sources added that these also aim to “monitor the movements of the Syrian Army and its allied and auxiliary forces spread out along the line of the Euphrates to the West from al-Bū Kamāl to the city of Dayr az-Zūr”.
On the other hand, a media site belonging to the Kurds announced that Saudi Arabia cut its support for “Qasad” and the Dayr az-Zūr Military Council within the measures Saudi Arabia took to get closer to Turkey, which considers “Qasad” as “a terrorist organization linked to the Kurdistani Labor Party, which is banned in Turkey”.
According to the same sources “Saudi Arabia gave only a few hours to the representative of the autonomy in the Gulf Šafān Hābūrī to leave the territory of the kingdom”.
Previously Saudi Arabia supported the autonomy of the Kurds militarily and financially after several visits by Saudi Minister Tāmir as-Subhān, who visited the areas under “Qasad” control in al-Ḥasaka, ar-Raqqa, and Dayr az-Zūr. During these visits, he met several members of the leadership in “Qasad” and the autonomy for the Kurds.

وبحسب مصادر ميدانية تحدثت لـ”الميادين نت”، فإن “هذه الطائرات تهدف لرصد تحركات خلايا تنظيم داعش في المنطقة، والتي تشهد نشاطاً متصاعداً أخيراً
وأضافت المصادر، أنها تهدف كذلك إلى “مراقبة تحركات الجيش السوري والقوات الحليفة والرديفة، المنتشرين على امتداد شريط نهر الفرات الغربي، من البوكمال وحتى مدينة دير الزور
من جهة ثانية، أعلنت مواقع إعلامية تابعة للكرد، عن قطع السعودية دعمها لـ”قسد” والإدارة الذاتية للكرد، ضمن الاجراءات التي تتخذها السعودية للتقارب مع تركيا التي تصنّف “قسد” على إنها “مجموعات إرهابية مرتبطة بحزب العمال الكردستاني المحظور في تركيا
ووفق المصادر نفسها، فإن “السعودية أمهلت ممثل الإدارة الذاتية في الخليج، شفان خابوري، عدة ساعات لمغادرة أراضي المملكة
ودعمت السعودية الإدارة الذاتية للكرد خلال الفترة السابقة، مادياً وعسكرياً، بعد عدة زيارات للوزير السعودي ثامر السبهان، الذي زار مناطق سيطرة “قسد” في الحسكة والرقة ودير الزور، والتي التقى خلالها بعدد من قيادات الكرد في “قسد” والإدارة الذاتية للكرد
