Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn points out the likely participation of Syria in the next Arab Summit in Algeria and regrets that Morocco signed a security agreement with “Israel”.
Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn said today, on Friday that it is supposed that Syrian participates in the next Arab Summit in Algeria, pointing out that his country strives to make the summit “the League of Arab Line”.
Algerian Foreign Minister Ramṭān La‘māmara had previously announced that his country, which will host the next summit of the Arab League studies “Arab agreement to secure Syria’s return to the League”.
La‘māmara underlined that his country “previously confirmed that now is the right time to give back Syria its seat in the Arab League, but without interference in its internal affairs”.
Syrian Foreign Minister Fayṣal al-Miqdād expressed that Damascus is ready to improve its relations with its neighbors in the region despite their previous stance during the war on Syria.
On the other hand Tabbūn regretted that Morocco signed an agreement with “Israel”, thus confirming that “the threat on Algeria by Morocco is shameful and disgraceful, as such thing hasn’t happened since 1948”.
Morocco and “Israel” signed an agreement of “security cooperation” on Wednesday during the first visit of its kind by the security minister of the Israeli occupation Benny Gantz to the kingdom.

الرئيس الجزائري عبد المجيد تبون يشير إلى احتمال مشاركة سوريا في القمة العربية المقبلة في الجزائر، ويأسف لتوقيع المغرب اتفاقاً أمنياً مع “إسرائيل
قال الرئيس الجزائري عبد المجيد تبون، اليوم الجمعة، إنّ من المفترض أن تشارك سوريا في القمة العربية المقبلة في الجزائر، مشيراً إلى أنّ بلاده تسعى لأن تكون القمة “جامعة للصف العربي”.
وأعلن وزير الخارجية الجزائري رمطان لعمامرة، في وقت سابق، أنّ بلاده التي ستحتضن قمة جامعة الدول العربية المقبلة، تبحث عن “توافق عربي لضمان عودة سوريا إلى الجامعة”.
وشدّد لعمامرة على أنّ بلاده “سبق أن أكدت أنّه حان الوقت لاستعادة سوريا مقعدها في الجامعة العربية، لكن من دون التدخل في شؤونها الداخلية”.
وكان وزير الخارجية السوري فيصل المقداد أعرب عن استعداد دمشق لتطوير علاقاتها مع جيرانها في المنطقة، على الرغم من مواقفهم السابقة إزاء الحرب في سوريا.
من جهة أخرى، أسف تبون لتوقيع المغرب اتفاقاً مع “إسرائيل”، مؤكداً أنّ “تهديد الجزائر من المغرب خِزيٌّ وعار ولم يحدث منذ 1948”.
