Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn announced that China will invest $36 billion in various fields in his country that will including industry, modern technology, information technology, transportation, and agriculture.
During his meeting with the representatives of the Algerian diaspora in China on Thursday Tabbūn revealed the agreement on expanding the exchange student programs between the two countries, confirming also the extensive work on strengthening the tourist activities between the sides.
About the visit he took to Beijing the Algerian President said that it opened up all the horizons for investments between the two friendly states and described the results as “very positive”.
Also, Tabbūn pointed out that the projects and the agreement that have been drawn up with the Chinese side are huge and have mutual benefit for both sides. He confirmed the intention of his country to bring the economic relations with China to their historically good level.
The Algerian President confirmed that the production of his country has started to develop to exceed the needs and there is a need for it in the foreign markets, pointing out that his country today “regained its place, also with the major and the friendly states”.
Tabbūn also underlined the good relations that Algeria enjoys with China, in addition to those with Russia, Türkiye, and Qatar, and with friendly European states, like Italy and Portugal.
As for the fields of security and defense, the Chinese and the Algerian presidents during their meeting held on Tuesday agreed on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership and stressed the need for trusted political and security cooperation.
According to the joint statement published by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the two states have also agreed on supporting each other’s basic interests and on the preservation of their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Algerian President went to the Chinese capital Beijing last Sunday responding to the invitation of his Chinese colleague Xi Jinping in a visit aimed to develop a comprehensive strategic partnership between Algerian and China in 2014.

الرئيس الجزائري عبد المجيد تبون يعلن من العاصمة الصينية بكين، أنّ الصين ستستثمر 36 مليار دولار في مجالات مختلفة في بلاده، مؤكداً أنّ نتائج زيارته كانت “إيجابيةً جداً
أعلن الرئيس الجزائري، عبد المجيد تبون، أنّ الصين ستستثمر 36 مليار دولار، في مجالات مختلفة في بلاده، تشمل الصناعة والتكنولوجيا الحديثة واقتصاد المعرفة والنقل والزراعة.
وخلال لقائه مع ممثلي الجالية الجزائرية في الصين، اليوم الخميس، كشف تبون عن الاتفاق على تكثيف الوفود الطلابية بين البلدين، مؤكداً العمل على تقوية الحركة السياحية بينهما.
وعن الزيارة التي قام بها إلى بكين، قال الرئيس الجزائري إنّها فتحت كافة آفاق الاستثمار بين البلدين الصديقين، ووصف نتائجها بـ”الإيجابية جداً”.
كذلك، أشار تبون إلى أنّ المشاريع والاتفاقات التي أُبرمت مع الجانب الصيني ضخمة، وتعود بالمنفعة المتبادلة على الطرفين، مؤكداً سعي بلاده للوصول بالعلاقات الاقتصادية مع الصين إلى مستوى العلاقات التاريخية الطيبة.
وأكد رئيس الجزائر أنّ إنتاج بلاده بدأ يتطور، ويلبّي الحاجات، وصار مطلوباً في الأسواق الخارجية، مشيراً إلى أنّ بلاده اليوم “استرجعت مكانتها، لا سيما لدى الدول الكبرى والدول الصديقة”.
وشدّد تبون أيضاً على العلاقات الطيبة التي تتمتع بها الجزائر مع الصين، بالإضافة إلى روسيا وتركيا وقطر، ودول صديقة في أوروبا، كإيطاليا والبرتغال.
وفي ما يتعلق بمجال الأمن والدفاع، اتفق الرئيسان الصيني والجزائري، خلال اجتماع عقداه قبل يومين، على تعميق شراكتهما الاستراتيجية الشاملة، وشددا على الحاجة إلى تعاون سياسي وأمني وثيق.
ووفقاً لما أورده بيان مشترك أصدرته وزارة الخارجية الصينية، اتفق البلدان أيضاً على دعم المصالح الأساسية لبعضهما البعض، والحفاظ على سيادتهما وسلامة أراضيهما.
وكان الرئيس الجزائري قد توجه إلى العاصمة الصينية بكين، الإثنين الماضي، تلبيةً لدعوة نظيره الصيني، شي جين بينغ، في زيارة تهدف إلى تطوير اتفاقية الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة الموقعة بين الجزائر والصين عام 2014
