A Syrian military source confirms the martyrdom of 7 military and one civilian personnel and the injury of 19 soldiers and 13 civilians by the American aggression that targeted Dayr az-Zūr on Tuesday.

A Syrian source confirms to the SANA news agency that the aggression that was launched by the American occupying forces on Tuesday dawn has led to the fall of 7 military and one civilian martyr, and the injury of 19 soldiers and 13 civilians, while also causing huge material damages.

On its behalf the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the American aggression that had targeted a number of towns, villages and militia positions in Dayr az-Zūr and its countryside on Tuesday morning, confirming the right of Damascus to defend itself and account the aggression in ways stipulated by the international law.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry added that the United States “vindicates itself as the policeman of the world” under the pretext of defending the international law and humanitarian law. It underlined that Washington must end its illegal presence and open support to Dā‘iš and the other terrorist groups.

Earlier the Iranian IRNA news agency citing the public relations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards informed that advisor of the Jerusalem Forces Behrūz Vaḥidī became martyred by the aggression against Dayr az-Zūr, in which another Iranian also got injured.

On his behalf the correspondent of al-Mayadeen confirmed that the American airstrike targeted the of aṣ-Ṣāliḥiyya in al-Bū Kamāl, the residential quarters on al-Mayadeen and the neighborhood of al-Quṣūr in Dayr az-Zūr.

The Pentagon claimed that the United States did not launch airstrikes within Syria on Tuesday ninth.

أكد مصدر عسكري سوري لوكالة “سانا” أنّ العدوان الذي شنّته قوات الاحتلال الأميركي، فجر اليوم. الثلاثاء، أدى إلى ارتقاء 7 شهداء عسكريين ومدني واحد، وإصابة 19 عسكرياً و13 مدنياً، إلى جانب وقوع خسائر مادية كبيرة.

بدورها، دانت وزارة الخارجية السورية العدوان الأميركي الذي استهدف عدداً من البلدات والقرى والمواقع. العسكرية في دير الزور وريفها، فجر اليوم، مؤكدةً حق دمشق في الدفاع عن النفس ومحاسبة المعتدي. بالوسائل التي ينصّ عليها القانون الدولي.

وأضافت الخارجية السورية أنّ الولايات المتحدة “نصّبت نفسها شرطياً للعالم”، تحت ذرائع يدينها القانون الدولي. والقانون الإنساني الدولي، مشددةً على ضرورة أن تنهي واشنطن وجودها غير المشروع ودعمها المفتوح لـ”داعش” والتنظيمات الإرهابية الأخرى.

وسبق أن نقلت وکالة “إرنا” الإيرانية عن العلاقات العامة في حرس الثورة في. إيران، خبر استشهاد المستشار من قوة القدس بهروز واحدي من جراء  العدوان على دير الزور، فيما وقع جريح إيراني.
