The “Forces of ‘Ifrīn’s Liberation” announced the killing of 3 Turkish soldiers and 3 armed men of the “Euphrates Shield” in a bombardment against a Turkish military base in rural Aleppo.
The so-called “Forces of ‘Ifrīn’s Liberation” announced on Sunday the killing of 3 Turkish soldiers and 3 men of the “Euphrates Shield”.

The statement posted by the “Forces of ‘Ifrīn’s Liberation” said that the Turkish soldiers and the armed men belonging to the “Euphrates Shield” were killed in a bombardment against the town of Māra‘ to the south of A‘zāz city in the northern countryside of Aleppo being controlled by the “Euphrates Shield” and another against a Turkish military base to the east of the city of al-Bāb also being under the control of the “Euphrates Shield” in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
The statement added that “combatting the attacks of the occupying Turkish army a response mission was carried out in the areas of Māra‘ and al-Bāb within a lawful defense”.
On 11 August 3 Turkish soldiers were killed and two others got wounded as a result of the operations of the “Forces of ‘Ifrīn’s Liberation” in the area of Māra‘.
On 12 August measures were taken against the base of the Turkish occupying army in the region of al-Bāb, which resulted in the killing of 3 Turkish soldiers and the injury of 5 other soldiers.
Fierce protests broke out in a number of regions by the armed groups in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib condemning the statements of Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, in which he spoke about the need for a reconciliation between the Syrian government and the opposition in some form.

“قوات تحریر عفرین” تعلن مقتل 3 جنود أتراك و3 مسلحين من “درع الفرات” في قصفٍ لقواعد عسكرية تركية في ريف حلب.
أعلنت ما تسمى بـ”قوات تحریر عفرین”، اليوم الأحد، مقتل 3 جنود أتراك و3 مسلحين من “درع الفرات
وقال بيانٌ نشرته “قوات تحریر عفرین” إنّ الجنود الأتراك والمسلحين التابعين لـ”درع الفرات” قتلوا في قصفٍ على بلدة مارع جنوب مدينة إعزاز الخاضعة لسيطرة مسلحي “درع الفرات” في ريف حلب الشمالي، وآخر على قاعدة تركية شرق مدينة الباب الخاضعة لسيطرة مسلحي “درع الفرات” أيضاً في ريف حلب الشرقي.
وأضاف البيان أنّه “في مواجهة هجمات جيش الاحتلال التركي، تمّت عمليات الرد في كل من منطقتي الباب ومارع في إطار الحماية القانونية”.
وفي 11 آب/أغسطس الحالي، قتل 3 من الجنود الأتراك وأصيب اثنان نتيجة عمليات “قوات تحرير عفرين” في منطقة مارع.
وفي 12 آب/أغسطس الحالي، تمّ اتخاذ إجراءات ضد قاعدة تابعة لجيش الاحتلال التركي في منطقة الباب، ما أسفر عن مقتل 3 جنود أتراك وإصابة 5 جنود آخرين.
وخرجت مظاهرات حاشدة للمجموعات المسلحة في مناطق عدة في ريفي إدلب وحلب تندد بتصريحات وزير الخارجية التركي جاويش أوغلو، التي تحدث فيها عن ضرورة إجراء مصالحة بين الحكومة السورية والمعارضة بطريقة ما
