The Naval Forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards take over an American drone and spying submarine of the “Remus 600” type in the Strait of Hormuz, while the experts work on extracting its valuable intelligence data.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announce that the naval forces have taken control over a second advanced American drone submersible of the “Remus 600 type at the Strait of Hormuz.
The statement of the Revolutionary Guards explained that the naval forces managed to surround the submersible of the American army while it was carrying out its spying duties in the area, pointing out that it relies on a self guiding system and carries out most of its missions without the need for constant contact with the operator.
“The naval experts are evaluating the data to be extracted from its strategic value”
The Revolutionary Guards reported that the confiscated submersible is at the hands of naval experts who are working on restoring the contents of its storage, confirming that its has a secondary sonar, a precise biometric device and data recording systems.
It also underlined that the importance of taking control over this submersible is in its massive strategic value, as its can draw a precise picture about the nature of the work of the American submersible and its duties in the region.
In this context the Revolutionary Guards reiterated confirming that the Strait of Hormuz is closed and it deals decisively without courtesy with any enemy movement, or unannounced crossing through the strait. Thus underlining the direct warning against foreign spying and militry activities in the area.

أعلن حرس الثورة الإيراني، سيطرة قوته البحرية على ثاني غواصة أميركية مسيرة ومتطورة من طراز “ريموس 600” في مضيق هرمز.
وأوضح بيان الحرس أن القوة البحرية تمكنت من محاصرة الغواصة التابعة للجيش الأميركي أثناء تنفيذها مهام تجسسية في المنطقة، مشيراً إلى أنها تعتمد على نظام الملاحة الذاتي وتنفيذ معظم مهامها دون الحاجة لاتصال مستمر مع المشغل

وأفاد حرس الثورة بأن الغواصة المحتجزة بضيافة خبراء البحرية الذين يعملون على استعادة محتويات ذاكرتها، مؤكداً أنها مزودة بسونار المسح الجانبي وأجهزة استشعار بيئية دقيقة وأنظمة تسجيل للبيانات.
كما شدّد على أن أهمية السيطرة على هذه الغواصة تكمن في قيمتها الاستخباراتية الكبيرة، حيث توفر رسم صورة دقيقة لكيفية عمل الغواصات الأميركية والمهام التي نفذتها في المنطقة.
وفي السياق، جدد حرس الثورة تأكيده على إغلاق مضيق هرمز والتعامل بحزم ومن دون مجاملة مع أي تحركات عدائية أو حركة مرور غير مصرح بها عبر المضيق، مشدداً على الحظر المباشر على الأنشطة التجسسية والعسكرية الأجنبية في المنطقة
