In the context of opening up for reconsidering the relations with Iran Diplomatic Advisor to the State of the Emirati Anwār Qarqāš says that his country works on building bridges with all states, including in that those with which it has serious disagreements.
Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the State of the Emirates Anwār Qarqāš said that “the Emirates takes steps to calm the turmoil with Iran in the framework of the political choice supporting diplomacy and to put confrontation aside”. Also that his country still feels “deep worry from the behavior of Iran in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen”.
Qarqāš believed ahead of the Abū Zabī strategic meeting on Monday that despite this “Abū Zabī takes steps to calm the turmoil, as it has no interest in confrontation, which will make the whole region pay a heavy price during the next decades”.
He saw “that the process shall be slow”, but at the same time there is hope that “with the passing time there shall be trust between the two sides and progress will start towards a more sustainable situation for the profit for both sides”.
He said that the Emirates work on building bridges with all states “including in that those with which it has serious disagreements”.
In the context of calming between Iran and the Emirates Emirati Foreign Minister ‘Abd Allah ibn Zāyid studied with his Iranian counterpart Ḥosseyn Amīr-‘Abdollahiyān few days ago the bilateral relations and the fields of joint cooperation between the two countries.
Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī in August had confirmed the lack of any compilations o nether path of expanding the relations between Iran and the Emirates in various fields, especially on the field of economy.
As for the matter with Afghanistan Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the State of the Emirates Anwār Qarqāš said that “the recent developments were quite worrisome for the Emirates on two fronts, which are the raising tension of extremism and the imagined role of the United States in the region”.
He viewed that his country is aware that “the American role is changing, but it is still essential”, and that “the United States is still a main security partner for the Emirates”.

في سياق الانفتاح على إعادة النظر في العلاقات مع إيران، المستشار الدبلوماسي لرئيس دولة الإمارات، أنور قرقاش، يقول إن بلاده تعمل لبناء جسور مع كل الدول بما فيها تلك التي لها خلافات جدية معها
قال المستشار الدبلوماسي لرئيس دولة الإمارات، أنور قرقاش، إن “الإمارات تتخذ خطوات لتهدئة التوتر مع إيران في إطار خيار سياسي مؤيد للدبلوماسية وتجنّب المواجهة”، وإن بلاده ما زالت تشعر “بقلق عميق من سلوك إيران في العراق وسوريا واليمن ولبنان
واعتبر قرقاش أمام ملتقى أبو ظبي الاستراتيجي الإثنين، أنه ورغم ذلك فإن “أبو ظبي تتخذ خطوات لتهدئة التوتر حيث أنه لا مصلحة لها في المواجهة التي ستدفع ثمنها المنطقة كلها على مدى عقود قادمة
ورأى “أنها ستكون عملية بطيئة”، لكنه أمل في الوقت نفسه أن “يتسنى بمرور الوقت بناء الثقة بين الجانبين، وبدء إحراز تقدم نحو وضع أكثر استدامة ومفيد للطرفين
وقال إن الإمارات تعمل لبناء جسور مع كل الدول “بما فيها تلك التي لها خلافات جدية معها
وفي سياق التهدئة بين إيران والإمارات، بحث وزير الخارجية الإماراتي، عبد الله بن زايد، مع نظيره الإيران، حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، قبل أيام، العلاقات الثنائية ومجالات التعاون المشترك بين البلدين
وكان الرئيس الإيراني، إبراهيم رئيسي، في آب/أغسطس أكّد في وقت سابق عدم وجود عقبات في طريق توسيع العلاقات بين إيران والإمارات في مختلف المجالات، وخصوصاً المجال الاقتصادي.
وفيما يتعلق بالوضع في أفغانستان، قال المستشار الدبلوماسي لرئيس دولة الإمارات، أنور قرقاش إن “التطورات الأخيرة كانت مقلقة للغاية بالنسبة للإمارات على جبهتين، هما صعود التطرف والدور المتصور للولايات المتحدة في المنطقة
ورأى أن بلاده تدرك أن “الدور الأميركي يتغير لكنه ما زال حيوياً”، وأن “الولايات المتحدة لا تزال الشريك الأمني الرئيسي للإمارات
