Iran and Russia sign 4 new cooperation memorandums. The Russian Deputy Prime Minister confirms that connecting the Iranian banks with the Russian system as a substitution for “SWIFT” goes along according to the plan.
The Iranian Ministry of Oil announces that Iran and Russia signed 4 joint cooperation memorandums aside from the 16th session of the Russian-Iranian Joint Economic Committee.
The Ministry pointed out that the strategic cooperation document between the two states was signed by Iranian Oil Minister Ğavād Ūğay and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
According to the Ministry, the document includes the renovation of the railroad lines that connect the two Iranian cities of “Ġarmsār and Īnğe Burūn”, the cooperation in the fields of healthcare and oil products transport and bank coordination.
On his behalf Novak said that Russia started to receive Iranian oil products in the frame of a “mutual agreement”, expressing that the list of products that shall be included in the agreement will be expanded in the close future.
On the other level, Novak confirmed that “connecting the Iranian banks to the Russian banking system as a substitute (for the SWIFT) goes along as planned”.
He explained that “a roadmap was signed between the central banks of Russia and Iran”. He also added: “According to this roadmap it will be secured that designated accounts shall be allocated to the banks and the companies and the banks shall be connected by the financial transfer systems and all goes along according to the plan”.
Iran had announced previously that reached a good agreement with Russia to set up a financial handling system alternative to SWIFT.

إيران وروسيا يوقعان 4 مذكرات تعاون جديدة، ونائب رئيس الوزراء الروسي يؤكد أن ربط المصارف الإيرانية بنظام روسي بديل عن “السويفت” يسير حسب المخطط له.
أعلنت وزارة النفط الإيرانية، أنّ إيران وروسيا وقَّعتا على 4 مذكرات تعاون مشترك، على هامش الدورة الـ 16 للجنة الاقتصادية الروسية- الإيرانية المشتركة.
وبيّنت الوزارة أنّ وثيقة التعاون الاستراتيجي بين البلدين وقعها وزير النفط الإيراني جواد اوجي، نائب رئيس الوزراء الروسي الكساندر نواك.
وبحسب الوزارة، فإن الوثيقة تشمل تحديث سكة الحديد التي تربط المدينتين الإيرانيتين “غَرمسار و اينجه برون”، والتعاون في مجال الصحة ونقل المشتقات النفطية والتنسيق المصرفي.
بدوره، قال نوفاك أن روسيا بدأت في تسليم منتجات نفطية لإيران في إطار “اتفاق التبادل”، مبيناً أن قائمة المنتجات التي سيتم تضمينها في الاتفاقية، سيتم توسيعها في المستقبل القريب.
وعلى صعيد آخر، أكد نوفاك إنّ “ربط المصارف الإيرانية بنظام روسي بديل عن (السويفت) يسير حسب المخطط له”.
وأوضح أنّه “تم التوقيع على خارطة طريق بين المصرفين المركزيين في روسيا وإيران”. كما أضاف: “وفقاً لهذه الخطة، يتم ضمان فتح حسابات لدى مصارف مرخص لها، ويتم ربط الشركات والمصارف بنظام التحويلات المالية، وكل شيء يسير حسب المخطط له”.
