A military source confirms to al-Mayadeen net that a checkpoint belonging to the Syrian army in the town of Tall Šāmīrān stopped an American convoy trying to pass towards the regions where the Syrian army spreads out.
A Military source confirmed to al-Mayadeen net that a checkpoint belonging to the Syrian army in the town of Tall Šāmīrān in the southwest countryside of Tall Tamr stopped today, Wednesday, an American convoy trying to pass towards the regions where the Syrian army spreads out south of the Aleppo – al-Ḥasaka highway (M4 highway), at the section which links between ‘Ayn ‘Īsā and Tall Tamr.
According to the source the American troops and officers tried to cross the army checkpoint in the countryside of Tall Tamr, but the soldiers of the checkpoint prevented them from crossing the region, where units belonging to the Syrian army are present.
Previously positions and checkpoints of the Syrian army spread across around Tall Tamr and next to the highway prevented American patrols from crossing the regions, where the army units took positions after the “Sochi” accord signed between Moscow and Ankara.
Tall Tamr town is experiencing American-Russian tension in the light of the attempts by the American forces to enforce their influence upon the region, despite the presence of the Syrian army and Russian observer point erected in it.

كد مصدر عسكري للميادين نت، أن حاجزاً يتبع للجيش السوري في بلدة تل شاميران بريف تل تمر الجنوبي الغربي، أوقف اليوم الأربعاء، رتلاً أميركياً كان يحاول المرور باتجاه مناطق انتشار الجيش السوري جنوب الطريق الدولي، حلب-الحسكة (اوتستراد m4)، في المقطع الرابط بين عين عيسى وتل تمر
وبحسب المصدر فإن عناصراً وضباطاً أميركيين حاولوا عبور حاجز الجيش في ريف تل تمر، إلا أن عناصر الحاجز منعوهم من عبور المنطقة التي تنتشر فيها وحدات تابعة للجيش السوري
وسبق لنقاط وحواجز الجيش السوري المنتشرة بريف تل تمر، ومحاذاة الطريق الدولي، أن منعت دوريات أميركية من عبور المناطق التي انتشرت فيها وحدات الجيش بعد مذكرة “سوتشي” الموقعة بين موسكو وأنقرة
وتشهد بلدة تل تمر توتراً أميركياً روسياً في ظل محاولات القوات الأميركية تثبيت نفوذها في المنطقة، رغم انتشار الجيش السوري، وانشاء مراكز مراقبة روسية فيها
