The leader of the right-wing “Israeli” party “Hawiyya”, Moshe Feighlein happily commented on the destructive explosion, which happened the day before yesterday, on Tuesday in the port of Beirut and claimed the lives of hundreds, while injuring thousands.
Feiglein wrote in a comment of his Facebook account on Wednesday “celebrating the festivity of love, we received an unbelievable show of fireworks in the port of Beirut”.
Feiglein is a former leader in the right-wing “Likud” Party, which is lead by the current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Feiglein said: “Did you know that this hell was about to fall upon us as a missile?”
He added: “I have little expertise with explosives. The biggest explosion I took part in was 2,5 tons of TNT. What I saw yesterday at Beirut was much bigger. It had the destructive capacity as a small nuclear bomb”.
Feiglein continued: “Today is the day of true and huge thanksgiving to God, for all the true professionals and heroes, who organized this magnificent celebration for us, decorating the festivity of love”.
Feiglein represented the “Likud” in the Knesset in the period between 2013 and 2015 and worked as Deputy Speaker of the House.
His “Hawiyya [indentity]” party did not reach the needed in the last Israeli elections last March.
On Tuesday the Lebanese capital had an unforgettable night, as a huge blast occurred in the Beirut port. The initial reports indicated that the reason for the blast was the explosion of a storage yard in the port, which contained “highly explosive materials”.
The Lebanese head of government Ḥassān Diyāb announced one-day national mourning for the victims of the explosion, while the Lebanese Supreme Defense Council named Beirut “tragedy-stricken city” during its decisions and measures to overcome the implications of the explosion.
The explosion on Tuesday expands the pains of the country, which for months now suffers from a strict economic crisis and severe political deadlock, while several regional and international sides have interfered.

وأضاف “لدي خبرة قليلة بالمتفجرات، أكبر انفجار شاركت فيه كان 2.5 طن من مادة تي أن تي، ما رأيناه بالأمس في ميناء بيروت كان أكبر بكثير، كان التأثير المدمر له كقنبلة نووية صغيرة
وتابع فيغلين “اليوم هو يوم شكر حقيقي وضخم لله، ولجميع العباقرة والأبطال الحقيقيين الذين نظموا هذا الاحتفال الرائع لنا، تكريما لعيد الحب
ومثّل فيغلين “الليكود” بالكنيست في الفترة ما بين 20ّ13 و2015، وشغل منصب نائب رئيس الكنيست
وأخفق حزبه “الهوية” في الوصول إلى نسبة الحسم في الانتخابات الإسرائيلية الأخيرة في شهر مارس/آذار الماضي
