Secretary of the Iranian National Security Council ‘Alī Lārīğānī confirmed that the date for the next round of the negotiations hasn’t been outlined yet, pointing out that “both sides wish to continue them”. However, the matter needs conciliation with the capitals in order to make the negotiations fruitful.
In response to a question about the news concerning a message through him to the American side Lārīğānī in a television interview with the Iranian television from Qatar said that Tehran had no written message to the Americans, explaining that “the Omani friends issued some contacts and suggested certain things to us. They provided written observations that had been given to me, so in Tehran we would follow them up and study them”.
As for the regional relations, he pointed out that Iran has very cordial ties with both the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar and that one of their goals is to raise the trade exchange with these countries, confirming that “the general policy of the Islamic Republic is to raise the trade exchange with the neighbors”.
He also explained that during the meetings many fields have been discussed, especially how to raise the level of industrial production and the joint investments in the important matters to improve the internal economic situation.
He mentioned that the situation in the region is turning around, believing that the reason for this is hardship and constraints caused by the Israeli Occupying Entity in the region.
He also added that there is an almost full consensus in the region that “Israel” is a destructive actor that is undermining security and therefore everyone must preserve the unity and the continued contacts and conciliations among themselves. He highlighted that the ongoing efforts to achieve a political unity in the region to create a sustainable collective security.
He pointed out the matter of the nuclear negotiations leading to a broader discussion and that all showed interest knowing what took place and the matter of help in this case.
Also highlighted that the Emir of Qatar and the Prime Minister “had ideas in this context” and also contacted other parties who wanted to understand the logic of Tehran, confirming that Tehran “values the behavior of Qatar and Oman in this regards and about the negotiations positively”.
In Doha Lārīğānī had met with Qatari Foreign Minister Muḥammad ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān Āl Tānī and also a delegation of the Ḥamās Movement led by Director of the Movement’s Executive Council Muḥammad Darwīš. There they exchanged views about the developments of the nuclear Nan’s the matter of lifting the sanctions, in addition to discussing the ways to enhance the bilateral economic cooperation and the continued conciliation about the regional developments.

أكد أمين المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإيراني، علي لاريجاني، أنّه لم يتم. تحديد موعد الجولة المقبلة من المفاوضات حتى الآن، مشيراً إلى أنّ “كلا الطرفين يرغبان في. استمرارها”، إلا أنّ الأمر يتطلب التشاور في العواصم المعنية، لكي. تكون المفاوضات مثمرة.
