A phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān.
On Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Salmān studied the situation of the global oil market over the phone.
The press office of the Kremlin about this event said: “Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muḥammad ibn Salmān Āl Sa‘ūd held a phone conversation and the two sides gave a positive evaluation about the level they achieved in the friendly relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia”.
The Kremlin added: “the matters of bilateral cooperation were discussed with a focus on expanding the trade and economic cooperation with mutual benefit. The current status of the global oil market was also discussed in detail”.
Putin and Ibn Salmān confirmed the importance to increase cooperation within the “OPEC+”l and both of them pointed out that the states of this alliance continue to adhere to their commitments to keep a balance in the global energy market.
The press office added: “the current situation of the global oil market was discussed in detail and the importance of expanded cooperation within the “OPEC+” was confirmed.
It was also pointed out that “the states participating in this alliance continue to adhere to their commitments in order to keep a balance and the necessary stability in the global energy market”.
The International Energy Agency had warned that the “global oil market is greatly twister between the lack of supplies and possible economic stagnation, while the demand might indeed get affected by rising prices and fluctuating economic conditions”. With this expected “a fall in the energy output to which Saudi Arabia and the Emirates alone contribute to with some 2.2 million barrels of oil a day, only in this August alone, while there have been decreases by the OPEC+”.

الكرملين: بوتين وابن سلمان يبحثان الوضع في سوق النفط العالمية

اتصال هاتفي بين الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، وولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان
بحث الرئيس الروسي، فلاديمير بوتين، اليوم الخميس، وولي العهد السعودي، محمد بن سلمان، عبر الهاتف، الوضع في سوق النفط العالمية.
وقال المكتب الصحفي للكرملين بهذا الصدد: “أجرى الرئيس الروسي، فلاديمير بوتين، محادثة هاتفية، مع ولي عهد المملكة العربية السعودية، محمد بن سلمان آل سعود، وقدم الجانبان تقييماً إيجابياً للمستوى الذي تم تحقيقه في العلاقات الودية بين روسيا والسعودية”.
وأضاف الكرملين: “تمت مناقشة قضايا التعاون الثنائي مع التركيز على توسيع العلاقات التجارية والاقتصادية ذات المنفعة المتبادلة، وتم النظر بالتفصيل في الوضع الحالي في سوق النفط العالمية”.
وأكد بوتين، وابن سلمان، أهمية زيادة التنسيق في إطار “أوبك+”، وأشارا إلى أن دول التحالف تفي باستمرار بالتزاماتها للحفاظ على التوازن في سوق الطاقة العالمي.
وأضاف المكتب الصحفي: “تم النظر بالتفصيل في الوضع الحالي في سوق النفط العالمية، وتم التأكيد على أهمية المزيد من التنسيق في إطار “أوبك+”.
كما تمت الإشارة إلى أن “الدول المشاركة في التحالف تفي باستمرار بالتزاماتها من أجل الحفاظ على التوازن والاستقرار اللازمين في سوق الطاقة العالمية”.
وكانت وكالة الطاقة الدولية، قد حذرت من أنّ “سوق النفط العالمية تسير على حبل مشدود بين نقص الإمدادات وركود اقتصادي محتمل، مع تأثر الطلب بالفعل بارتفاع الأسعار وتدهور الأوضاع الاقتصادية”، متوقعةً “انخفاض طاقة الإنتاج الفائضة للسعودية والإمارات معاً قد إلى 2.2 مليون برميل يومياً، فقط في آب/أغسطس، مع التخلص من تخفيضات أوبك+
