The Syrian Observer of Human Rights reported information it acquired about the commander of the “aš-Šām Legion” belonging to Turkey, who was taken captive in the battles in Libya by the “forces of Ḥaftar.

The person called Muḥammad al-Buwayḍānī descends from district of Bābā ‘Amr from the city of Homs, and specifically from the neighborhood of al-Ğīlānī. The beginning for al-Buwayḍānī was when he joined brigade called “al-Fārūq” in Bābā ‘Amr after the neighborhood fell out of control of the Syrian Army. He went the al-Qalamūn [Mountains] before returning to Homs.
After founding a terrorist brigade called “aš-Šām Legion” and the departure of the terrorist group called “Northern Homs countryside” to Northern Syria al-Buwayḍānī took the post of commander of the artillery brigade in the mentioned brigade and took part in the battles for ‘Ifrīn on the side of the Turkish forces in their “Olive Branch” operation. According to the so-called Syrian Observer of Human Rights, which posted the information “al-Buwayḍānī” committed many violations from extortion to robbery and destruction. The person has a very bad reputation according to the sources of the “Syrian Observer”.
Muḥammad al-Buwayḍānī headed to Libya as a mercenary of the Turkish government and took part in the battles there against the “forces of Ḥaftar“, until he was taken captive by the latter group a few days ago, along with 26 others from his group, most of whom are from Homs, whom Turkey changed them to “mercenaries” working for its interests.

نشرت حصل المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان على معلومات للقيادي في “فيلق الشام” الموالي لتركيا الذي جرى أسره في معارك ليبيا على يد “قوات حفتر
وينحدر المدعو محمد البويضاني من حي باب عمرو بمدينة حمص وتحديداً من حارة الجيلاني، وكانت بداية البويضاني بانضمامه لكتيبة مايسمى “الفاروق” بباب عمرو، وعقب الخروج من الحي وسيطرة الجيش السوري عليه، توجه إلى القلمون، قبل أن يعود إلى حمص
وعقب تأسيس فصيل مايسمى “فيلق الشام” الارهابي وخروج جماعة “ريف حمص الشمالي” الارهابية إلى الشمال السوري، تولى البويضاني منصف قائد كتيبة المدفعية في الفيلق المذكور و شارك في معارك عفرين إلى جانب القوات التركية في عمليتها المعروفة “غصن الزيتون”، وبحسب مايسمى المرصد السوري الذي نشر المعلومات ان “البويضاني ” ارتكب انتهاكات كثيرة من فرض إتاوات وسرقات ونهب، وهو شخص سيء الصيت وفقاً لما ذكرته مصادر “المرصد السوري
وتوجه محمد البويضاني إلى ليبيا كمرتزق للحكومة التركية، وشارك في المعارك التي دارت هناك ضد “قوات حفتر”، إلى أن تم أسره من قبل الأخير قبل أيام قليلة برفقة نحو 26 آخرين من مجموعته غالبيتهم من أنباء حمص ممن حولتهم تركيا إلى “مرتزقة” يعملون لصالحها
