Explosions were heard in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. Social media sites publish videos saying that they show the scene of the explosion.
The Reuters agency reported that sounds of explosions were heard in the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, thus pointing out that “the reasons are unknown”.
On its own behalf the “France Press” agency said that in the regions of Dubai on Wednesday night a strong explosion was heard “and its reasons were not immediately known”.
Citing the reporter of “France Press” the residents in the Ğabal ‘Alī neighborhood, which holds the main port in the south of this emirate reported that their homes were shaken after a strong explosion.
On its own behalf the press office of the government of Dubai announced that civil protection units in the emirate are now dealing with a fire caused by an explosion in a container on board of a ship in the Ğabal ‘Alī port, thus confirming that the fire “in under control” and there are no deaths, or injuries upon the accident”.
At the same time the social media sites circled videos claiming that these are the site of the explosion in Dubai.
