The Syrian Foreign Ministry responds to the American-European statement by explaining the destructive effects caused by the sanctions imposed on the Syrian people, in addition to the negative role the American forces play in the regions they occupy.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates states that “during the last 13 years the governments of the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France and Germany continuously pursued their systematic animosity against Syria by the use of all methods of war against it”.

In a statement issued on Sunday the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the statement issued by the governments of four states on Friday and considered it “a continuation of their destructive policy against it and the repetition what had been used before stirring up baseless accusations, airing claims that only aim to blacken the reputation of the Syrian state and to turn the attention of the world away from their heinous excesses  against the relights of the Syrian people, especially against the right to live and prosper”.

The Foreign Ministry’s statement ended with “the claim by the governments of the four states that their efforts are concentrated on ending the sufferings of the Syrians is nothing but political hypocrisy and moral decadence aiming to cover the catastrophic effects of the unlawful forcibly imposed measures in the Syrian people”.

In its statement the Foreign Ministry confirmed “with the utmost clarity and force that the support by the United States of American to a separatist terrorist militia is causing huge suffering to the residents of Northeastern Syria, and its theft of the Syrian National wealth prohibited the Syrians to enjoy these goods, while continues to occupy a part of the Syrian territories represents a scandalous breach of the Syrian sovereignty and the UN Charter”.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates ended its statement by underlining that “the language of political provocation that is being used by those issued the statement about imposing preconditions for the financial procedure for reconstruction in Syria and lifting the sanctions against it is simply the language of obsolete colonialism primarily aiming to prolong the crisis in Syria”.

The United States of America, France, Great Britain and Germany had issued a joint statement which confirmed “not normalizing with the Syrian state”.

The four state in their statement announced that they will not lift the sanctions against Syria and will prohibit the reconstruction until what they called as “political solution” is not achieved for the war in Syria.

صرّحت وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين السورية، بأنه و”على مدار الـ13 عاماً الماضية، وحكومات الولايات. المتحدة الأمريكية، والمملكة المتحدة، وفرنسا، وألمانيا مستمرة في نهجها العدائي ضد سوريا، وذلك من خلال استخدامها جميع أدوات الحرب ضدها”.

وفي بيان صادر عنها، اليوم الأحد، أدانت الخارجية السورية، البيان الذي أصدرته حكومات الدول. الأربعة، الجمعة، واعتبرته “استمراراً لسياساتها الهدامة ضدها، وتكراراً لما دأبت عليه من تلفيق للاتهامات الباطلة، وترويجاً للدعايات الهادفة. إلى تشويه صورة الدولة السورية، وحرفاً لأنظار العالم عن انتهاكاتهم الجسيمة لحقوق الشعب السوري، وخاصة الحق في الحياة والتنمية”.

وأضاف بيان الخارجية، بأنّ “ادعاء حكومات البلدان الأربعة، بأن جهودها تتركز على إنهاء معاناة. السوريين، ما هو إلا نفاق سياسي وانحطاط أخلاقي يهدف إلى التغطية على الآثار الكارثية للتدابير القسرية. اللاشرعية المفروضة على الشعب السوري”.

وأكّدت الخارجية في بيانها “بكل وضوح وقوة أن دعم الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لميليشيا انفصالية. إرهابية تسبب بمعاناة كبيرة لسكان شمال شرق سورية، وسرقتها للثروات الوطنية السورية حرم السوريين من التمتع بثرواتهم، واستمرار. احتلالهم جزءاً من الأراضي السورية يمثل انتهاكاً فاضحاً للسيادة السورية ولميثاق الأمم المتحدة

وختمت وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين السورية بيانها بالتشديد على أنّ “لغة الابتزاز السياسي التي. يستخدمها أصحاب البيان فيما يتعلق بفرض شروط مسبقة على عملية تمويل إعادة الإعمار في سورية. ورفع العقوبات عنها، ليست سوى لغة. استعمارية بائدة، تهدف بالمقام الأول إلى إطالة أمد الأزمة في سورية”.

وكانت كل من الولايات المتحدة الأميركية وفرنسا وبريطانيا وألمانيا، قد أصدرت بياناً مشتركاً، أكد “عدم التطبيع مع الدولة السورية”.

وأعلنت الدول الأربع في بيانها أنها لن ترفع العقوبات عن سوريا، كما ستمنع إعادة الإعمال قبل. أن يتاحقق ما أسمته “الحل السياسي” للحرب في سوريا
