Commander of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces expresses the readiness of his country to provide the Sultanate of Oman with its experiences on the field of anti terrorism and adds that the presence of foreign forces in the region leads to insecurity.
Commander of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Moḥammad Ḥosseyn Bāqerī revealed today, on Monday that Iran “held meetings with officials of the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and some misunderstandings have been solved”.
The official Iranian television reported that while welcoming the Deputy Commander of the Omani Army Staff for Operations and Planning Brigadier General ‘Abd al-‘Azīz al-Mundirī in Tehran Bāqerī [said] that “Iran is ready to provide its experiences on the field of anti terrorism to the Omani Armed Forces”.
He continued saying: “the meetings aimed to broaden the relations and the military and international cooperation between the two countries”
He also added saying: “the presence of the foreign forces in region leads to insecurity and that the Americans and the Europeans see the only way to remain in the region is by inventing splits and conspiracies between the states of the region”.
It should be pointed out that there has been a security dialogue meeting between Saudi Arabia and Iran with the participation experts from both sides on Monday in the Jordanian capital Amman.

رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية يبدي استعداد بلاده لتقديم خبراتها في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب مع سلطنة عُمان، ويضيف أنّ وجود الجيوش الأجنبية في المنطقة يؤدي إلى انعدام الأمن.
كشف رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية، اللواء محمد حسين باقري، اليوم الإثنين، أنّ إيران “عقدت اجتماعات مع مسؤولين بالإمارات العربية المتحدة والمملكة السعودية وتمّ حل بعض سوء الفهم”.
ونقل التلفزيون الإيراني الرسمي عن باقري خلال استقباله في طهران مساعد رئيس هيئة الأركان للعمليات والتخطيط العماني العميد عبد العزيز المنذري، في إيران إنّ “طهران مستعدة لتقديم خبراتها في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب مع القوات المسلحة العُمانية”.
وتابع قائلاً إنّ “الاجتماع يهدف إلى توسيع العلاقات والتعاون العسكري والدولي بين البلدين”.
كما أضاف قائلاً إن ” وجود الجيوش الأجنبية في المنطقة يؤدي إلى انعدام الأمن.. ويرى الأميركيون والأوروبيون أنّ السبيل الوحيد للبقاء في المنطقة هو خلق الانقسامات والمؤامرات بين دول المنطقة”.
