The Russian Ministry of Defense took an announcement on Sunday night about a military convoy in Northern Syria belonging to the American forces that was targeted from areas under control by armed groups belonging to Turkey.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said the following in a announcement: “informations have been received via a certain channel that there has been clashes with the American side, which aimed to target a convoy of the American soldiers on 3 November, which was heading on the M4 highway towards the Iraqi border, some 6 kilometers to the west from the town of Tall Tāmir [Tall Tamr].
The ministry clarified that the attack came from “lands under the control of the fighters Syrian National Army, belonging to Turkey”, affirming that the incident resulted no casualties.

وقالت وزارة الدفاع الروسية، في بيان أصدرته بهذا الصدد: “تم الحصول على معلومات عبر قناة فض الاشتباكات مع الجانب الأمريكي تفيد باستهداف قافلة عسكريين أمريكيين، يوم 3 نوفمبر، كانت تسير في طريق إم 4 باتجاه الحدود مع العراق، على بعد 6 كيلومترات غربي بلدة تل تامر”
وأوضحت الوزارة أن القصف نفذ من “أراض يسيطر عليها مسلحون موالون لتركيا من الجيش الوطني”، مشددة على أن الحادث لم يسفر عن إصابات
