The American army announces in a statement that his forces have carried out precision airstrikes against the infrastructure that is used by groups connected to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps in Dayr az-Zūr, Eastern Syria.

The Central Command of the American Army announced in a statement that on Wednesday dawn that “the American forces by the instructions of American President Joe Biden carried out precision airstrikes in Dayr az-Zūr province in Syrian”.

The statement claimed that “these precision strikes aimed to protect the American forces from the attacks of the Iran backed groups, like those which attacked American personnel in mid-August”.

According to the statement “the American airstrikes targeted the infrastructure positions that were used by groups linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards”.

It added: “the strikes today were necessary to defend and protect the American personnel”, pointing out that “the United States took appropriate measures to limit the dangers of escalation and decrease the danger of injuries happening”.

According to what was in the statement the “United States does not wish struggle, but will continue taking necessary measures to protect its people and defend them”. Also adding that “the American forces are to remain in Syria to secure the permanent defeat of Dā‘iš”. Thus according to the statement.

الجيش الأميركي يعلن في بيان أنّ قواته نفذت غارات جوية دقيقة ضد منشآت تستخدمها جماعات مرتبطة بحرس الثورة الإيراني في دير الزور شمالي سوريا.  

أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأميركية في بيان، فجر اليوم الأربعاء، أن “القوات الأميركية نفذت، بتوجيه من الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن، غارات جوية دقيقة في محافظة دير الزور في سوريا”.

وزعم البيان أنّ “هذه الضربات الدقيقة تهدف إلى حماية القوات الأميركية من هجمات الجماعات المدعومة من إيران، كتلك التي شنّتها على أفراد أميركيين في منتصف آب/أغسطس”.

وبحسب البيان، “استهدفت الغارات الأميركية مرافق البنية التحتية التي تستخدمها جماعات تابعة لحرس الثورة الإيراني”. 

وأضاف: “غارات اليوم كانت ضرورية للدفاع ولحماية الأفراد الأميركيين”، مشيراً إلى أنّ “الولايات المتحدة اتخذت إجراءات متناسبة للحدّ من مخاطر التصعيد وتقليل مخاطر وقوع إصابات”.

وبحسب ما جاء في البيان، فإنّ “الولايات المتحدة لا تسعى إلى نزاع، لكنها ستستمر في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية شعبها والدفاع عنه”، مضيفاً أنّ “القوات الأميركية باقية في سوريا لضمان الهزيمة الدائمة لداعش”، وفق زعمه
