Director of the Committee for foreign, cooperation and diaspora affairs Muḥammad Hānī confirms that the country is committed to deepen its cooperation with Iran.
Director of the Committee for foreign, cooperation and diaspora affairs in the Algerian Parliament Muḥammad Hānī today, on Sunday in the headquarters of the committee greeted Ḥosseyniyān Mīr-Mas‘ūd and ‘Alī Qamšī, who are the general director for the the Middle East department and director for the North African section in the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between Algeria and Iran and the prospects of its development, including on the parliamentary level.
At the same time Hānī on his behalf raised the matter of economic cooperation once again pointing out the devotion of Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn to make this year “an outstanding economic year”. Thus pointing out that “Algeria is devoted to deepen its cooperation with Tehran within a strategic partnership envisioned by both sides”.
Also the director of the committee explained “the firm position of Algerian to support the just matters, on the top of this list the Palestinian matter, the matter of the Sahara”. He reiterated “its commitment not to interfere in the internal matters of [other] countries”.
On the other hand the two Iranian officials confirmed the importance of bilateral coordination on various international forums to support the Palestinian matter and congratulated the Algerian diplomatic circles for freezing the membership of the Zionist Entity as an observer member in the African Union. They also confirmed in an other context the support of Iran to hold a national referendum securing the rights of the Saharan people and their right to determine their fate”.

رئيس لجنة الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون والجالية في البرلمان الجزائري محمد هاني يؤكد أنّ بلاد حريصة على تعميق تعاونها مع إيران.
استقبل رئيس لجنة الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون والجالية في البرلمان الجزائري، محمد هاني، اليوم الأحد، بمقرّ المجلس، حسينيان مير مسعود وعلي قمشي، وهما على التوالي، المدير العام لمديرية الشرق الأوسط، ومدير مصلحة شمال أفريقيا، في وزارة الشؤون الخارجية الإيرانية.
وتناول اللقاء واقع العلاقات الثنائية بين الجزائر وإيران وآفاق تطويرها، لاسيما على المستوى البرلماني.
هذا وتطرق هاني إلى التعاون في جانبه الاقتصادي، مجدداً تصميم الرئيس الجزائري عبد المجيد تبون على جعل هذه السنة “سنة اقتصادية بامتياز “، مشيراً إلى أنّ “الجزائر حريصة على تعميق تعاونها مع إيران وفق شراكة استراتيجية مربحة للطرفين”.
كذلك استعرض رئيس اللجنة، “مواقف الجزائر الثابتة في نصرة القضايا العادلة وفي مقدمتها القضيتان الفلسطينية والصحراوية”، وجدد “التزامها بعدم التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول”.
من جهة أخرى، أكّدا المسؤولان الإيرانيان أهمية التنسيق الثنائي في مختلف المحافل الدولية لنصرة القضية الفلسطينية وأشادا بنجاح الدبلوماسية الجزائرية في تجميد عضوية الكيان الصهيوني كمراقب بالاتحاد الإفريقي، كما أكّدا، في سياق آخر، دعم إيران لإجراء استفتاء يضمن حق الشعب الصحراوي في تقرير مصيره
