During his meeting with the Iranian Supreme Leader Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro confirms that the successful experience of the two countries has proven that steadfastness and resistance form the only way to confront the American pressures and sanctions imposed on them.
Iranian Supreme Leader as-Sayyid Nicolas Maduro confirmed on Saturday that the successful experience of Iran and Venezuela has proven that steadfastness and resistance are the only way to confront the designed war and pressures of America.
As-Sayyid Hāmeneī while welcoming Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the delegation accompanying him said that “your resistance and the resistance of the Venezuelan people deserve gratitude and appreciation”. Thus pointing out that “this resistance is really valuable, as it leads to the rise of standards of the people, the country and its leadership”.
He also turned attention to that “this forced the American administration to have a special view about this country” punishing it, as the view of America towards Venezuela today is no longer the same as it was in the past”.
The Iranian Supreme Leader congratulated the stance of Maduro for opposing Zionism, saying that “Your recent position against the Zionist Entity was quite brave and poignant”.
He added that “the resistance of the Iranian people has foiled the policy of maximum pressure, which is shown by the opinion of a high-level American official, who recently said that the United States suffered a defeat against the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
He also pointed out in his speech the technical and technological development and initiatives of Iran in the recent years commenting: “These major steps have been taken under circumstances when blockade and pressure were imposed upon us. This was the biggest of the Iranian people, as even the Americans themselves called it maximum pressure”.
As-Sayyid Hāmeneī welcomed the signing of a twenty years long cooperation document between Iran and Venezuela and said that “the long-term cooperation requires following the agreements and implementing them”. Thus pointing out that the cooperation and contact between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian government in Venezuela “have to be more and more stable and firm”.
He viewed that “the two countries have no contact like this trusted relationship with any other state”, adding that “Iran has the policy to take the hands of its friends in dangerous times”.
Maduro: You gave a helping hand to us at a time when all countries left us
On his behalf the Venezuelan President during the meeting, on which Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī was also present thanked Iran for its help to the brotherly Venezuelan people against the United States saying: “You came to our aid when Venezuela’s situation was quite hard and there was no country to help us. You extended a helping hand towards us, so we could get out of that situation”.
Maduro explained the troublesome economic situation in Caracas in recent years expressing: “As You said, the Americans started a gradual and multidimensional war against our country”. Thus pointing out the capability by capitalizing on the chances the sanctions provided to start a comprehensive confrontation against the American attacks.
Maduro confirmed that the situation in Venezuela has become better compared to what it was in recent years.
About his talks in Tehran and singing a cooperation document he said: “We work on solidifying the precise roadmap for cooperation with Iran in various fields, and especially in the field of science and technology”.
Maduro underlined that his country holds the Palestinian matter as a holy humanitarian matter explaining that “because of this belief the Zionist Entity planned to continue to act against Venezuela via the Mossad”.
On his term, Iranian President Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī said during his meeting with Maduro earlier today that “Venezuela proved that it is an example for independence and resistance against imperialism”. This also points out that “the decision of the two countries is to confront the sanctions and the threats and transform the threat into a chance for development”.
The Venezuelan President leading a high-level political and economic delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday after his visit to Turkey and Algeria to meet his Iranian counterpart Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī and study the joint cooperation between the two states.

خلال لقائه الرئيس الفنزويلي، نيكولاس مادورو، المرشد الإيراني يؤكد أنّ تجربة بلديهما الناجحة أثبتت أنّ الصمود والمقاومة يشكّلان السبيل الوحيد إلى مواجهة الضغوط والعقوبات الأميركية المفروضة عليهما
أكّد المرشد الإيراني، السيد علي خامنئي، اليوم السبت، أنّ تجربة إيران وفنزويلا الناجحة أثبتت أنّ الصمود والمقاومة يشكّلان السبيل الوحيد إلى مواجهة الضغوط وحرب أميركا المركّبة.
وقال السيد خامنئي، لدى استقباله الرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو والوفد المرافق له، إنّ “صمودكم وصمود الشعب الفنزويلي محل تقدير واعتزاز”، مشيراً إلى أنّ “هذا الصمود قيّم للغاية، لأنه يقود الى النهوض بالمكانة والمنزلة للشعب والبلد وقيادتهما”.
ولفت إلى أنّ “ذلك أجبر الإدارة الأميركية على أن تحمل رؤية خاصة حيال هذا البلد”، معقّباً بأنّ “نظرة أميركا تجاه فنزويلا باتت اليوم مغايرة للماضي”.
وأشاد المرشد الإيراني بمواقف مادورو المعادية للصهيونية، قائلاً إن “مواقفكم الأخيرة ضد الكيان الصهيوني كانت صائبة وشجاعة للغاية”.
وأضاف أنّ “مقاومة الشعب الإيراني أفشلت سياسة الضغوط القصوى، وذلك بإقرار مسؤول أميركي رفيع، قال مؤخراً إنّ الولايات المتحدة هُزمت أمام الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية”.
كما أشار في حديثه إلى التقدم والمبادرات العلمية والتكنولوجية لإيران في الأعوام الأخيرة، معلّقاً: “تم اتخاذ هذه الخطوات الكبيرة في ظروف فُرضت فيها إجراءات حظر وضغوط، كانت هي الأشد على الشعب الإيراني، إذ إنّ الأميركيين أنفسهم أطلقوا عليها اسم الضغوط القصوى”.
ورحّب السيد خامنئي بتوقيع وثيقة تعاون لعشرين عاماً بين إيران وفنزويلا، وقال إنّ “التعاون الطويل الأمد يتطلب متابعة الاتفاقات وإتمامها”، لافتاً إلى أنّ التعاون والتواصل بين الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية والحكومة البوليفارية في فنزويلا “يجب أن يكونا راسخين ووثيقين أكثر فأكثر”.
ورأى أنّ “البلدين ليس لديهما علاقات بأي دولة مثل علاقاتهما الوثيقة”، مضيفاً أنّ “إيران برهنت أنها تأخذ بأيدي أصدقائها في أوقات الخطر”.
مادورو: مددتم يد العون إلينا في وقت تخلت الدول عنّا
بدوره، شكر الرئيس الفنزويلي، خلال اللقاء، الذي حضره أيضاً الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي، إيران على دعمها جهادَ الشعب الفنزويلي الشاق ضد الولايات المتحدة ، قائلاً: “لقد جئتم لدعمنا عندما كان وضع فنزويلا صعباً للغاية، ولم يكن هناك بلد يساعدنا. ومددتم يد المساعدة إلينا كي نخرج من هذا الوضع”.
وعرض مادورو الوضع الاقتصادي الصعب في كاراكاس في الأعوام الأخيرة، معقباً: “كما قلتم، بدأ الأميركيون حرباً تدريجية ومتعددة الأبعاد ضد بلدنا”، لافتاً إلى التمكن، من خلال الاستفادة من الفرص التي وفرتها العقوبات، من بدء التصدي الشامل للهجمة الأميركية.
وأكد مادورو أنّ الوضع أصبح في فنزويلا أفضل مما كان عليه قبل عدة أعوام.
وفي إشارة إلى محادثاته في طهران والتوقيع على وثيقة تعاون، قال: “نحن نعمل على تصميم خريطة طريق دقيقة للتعاون مع إيران في مختلف المجالات، وخصوصاً في مجال العلوم والتكنولوجيا”.
وشدّد مادرو على أنّ بلاده تعدّ قضية فلسطين قضيةً إنسانية مقدّسة، مردفاً بأنّه “بسبب هذا الاعتقاد، فإنّ الكيان الصهيوني يخطط باستمرار ضد فنزويلا من خلال الموساد”.
بدوره، قال الرئيس الإيراني، إبراهيم رئيسي، خلال لقائه مادورو، في وقت سابق اليوم، إنّ “فنزويلا أثبتت أنها نموذج يُحتذى به في الاستقلال والتصدي للإمبريالية”، لافتاً إلى أنّ “قرار البلدين هو التصدي للعقوبات والتهديدات، وتحويل التهديد إلى فرصة في التطور”.
وكان الرئيس الفزويلي وصل إلى طهران على رأس وفد سياسي واقتصادي رفيع المستوى، أمس الجمعة، بعد زيارته تركيا والجزائر، للقاء نظيره الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي، والبحث في التعاون المشترك بين البلدين
