Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī says “that we have formed an investigation committee to name those responsible for delivering arms to those who opened fire on the protestors”.
Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī said that “the security forces refused to raise weapons on the Iraqis whichever level the spirits spiraled out”.
Al-Kāẓimī added: “We have formed an investigation committee to name those responsible for delivering weapons to those opened fire on the protestors”.
Al-Kāẓimī continued: “If they wanted to continue to cause chaos and struggle than I will take my moral and patriotic step and announce the post of the Prime Minister vacant according to section 81 [of the constitution]”.
Previously on Tuesday Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī confirmed that the call by as-Sayyid Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr to stop the violence the constitute the “highest level of national responsibility and commitment to preserve the Iraqi blood”
The Iraqi Prime Minister gave his first speech after the first speech of Sayyid Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr apologizing to the Iraqi people for the armed clashes on which some of his supporters took part and that led to the death of 23 people and hundreds of injuries.
Aṣ-Ṣadr addressed the supporters of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement taking part in the protests and blockades saying: “If the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement does not withdraw within 60 minutes starting now than I will dissociate myself from it”.
Iraq has witnessed bloody events starting from Monday that went on on Tuesday after aṣ-Ṣadr announced that he is retiring from the political work and closes his institutions down.
In the series of political stances today in Iraq the Conciliatory Framework in Iraq called “the National Assembly and the rest of the constitutional organizations to return to undertake their constitutional duties”.
In a statement the Conciliatory Framework said that it views it “necessary to swiftly form a government of national service taking over the duties of reform combating corruption and eradicating privileges”.
On his own behalf Iraqi President Barham Ṣāliḥ said that “the scenes from yesterday shook the souls of the Iraqis and we must admit that the political framework and the constitutional institutions unable to prevent what eventuality happened”.
On its behalf the Popular Mobilization [al-Ḥašd aš-Ša‘abī] said: “We appreciate the calls for calming down and to end the armed violence that was unleashed by as-Sayyid Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr”. The Popular Mobilization in a statement called reinstating security and to work within the national duties and according to the law and the constitution.

رئيس الوزراء العراقي، مصطفى الكاظمي، يقول “إننا شكّلنا لجنة تحقيق لتحديد المسؤولين عن إيصال السلاح إلى الذين فتحوا النار على المتظاهرين”.
قال رئيس الوزراء العراقي، مصطفى الكاظمي، إنّ “القوات الأمنية رفضت وضع فوّهات البنادق أمام صدور العراقيين، مهما بلغ انفعالها”.
وأضاف الكاظمي: “شكّلنا لجنة تحقيق لتحديد المسؤولين عن إيصال السلاح إلى الذين فتحوا النار على المتظاهرين”.
وتابع الكاظمي: “إذا أرادوا الاستمرار في إثارة الفوضى والصراع، فسأقوم بخطوتي، الأخلاقية والوطنية، بإعلان خلوّ المنصب وفقاً للمادة الـ81”.
وفي وقت سابق من اليوم الثلاثاء، أكّد رئيس مجلس الوزراء العراقي، مصطفى الكاظمي، أنّ دعوة السيد مقتدى الصدر إلى وقف العنف تمثّل “أعلى مستويات الوطنية، والحرص على حفظ الدم العراقي”.
وأتى كلام رئيس الحكومة العراقي بعد كلمة أُولى للسيد مقتدى الصدر، اعتذر فيها إلى الشعب العراقي بسبب وقوع اشتباكات مسلحة شارك فيها بعض أنصاره، وأسفرت عن مقتل 23 شخصاً، وجرح المئات.
وتوجّه الصدر إلى أنصار “التيار الصدري” الموجودين في الاحتجاجات والاعتصامات، قائلاً: “إذا لم ينسحب التيار الصدري في غضون 60 دقيقة، بدءاً من الآن، فأنا أتبرّأ منه”.
وشهد العراق أحداثاً دامية، بدأت أمس الإثنين واستمرت اليوم الثلاثاء، بعد إعلان الصدر اعتزال العمل السياسي، وإقفال مؤسساته.
وفي سلسلة المواقف السياسية اليوم في العراق، دعا الإطار التنسيقي في العراق “مجلس النواب وسائر المؤسسات الدستورية إلى العودة إلى ممارسة مهماتها الدستورية”.
وقال الإطار التنسيقي، في بيان، إنّه يرى “ضرورة الإسراعِ في تشكيل حكومة خدمة وطنية، تتولى المهمّات الإصلاحية ومحاربة الفساد ونبذ المحاصصة”.
من جهته، قال الرئيس العراقي، برهم صالح، إنّ “مشاهد الأمس هزت نفوس العراقيين، وعلينا الإقرار بأن المنظومة السياسية والمؤسسات الدستورية عجزت عن تفادي ما حدث”.
بدوره، قال الحشد الشعبي العراقي: “نثمّن دعوات التهدئة ووقف العنف المسلح، والتي أطلقها السيد مقتدى الصدر”. ودعا الحشد الشعبي، في بيان، إلى بسط الأمن والعمل بموجب الواجبات الوطنية، وفق القانون والدستور.
