During their meeting in Uganda the Israeli Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Sudanese Interim Sovereignty Council meet to start “the mutual cooperation” which would lead to “the normalization of relations between the two countries”.

The Sudanese government confirmed that it was informed, nor conciliation done with it in the Ministerial Council about the meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and with the Chairman of the Sudanese Interim Sovereignty Council ‘Abd al-Fattāḥ al-Burhān.

Netanyahu and al-Burhān met after the latter’s encounter with the President of Uganda Yuri [Yoweri] Museveni, and the two [Netanyahu and al-Burhān] agreed to to launch “a mutual cooperation”, which will lead up to “the normalization of relations between the two countries”, according to the statement given out by the office of the Israeli Prime Minister.

Netanyahu said in a tweet of his that “it is hoped that Sudan will go on a new and positive path”, adding that al-Burhān “wishes to help his country engage in a modernization process, and that will lead it out from its isolation and will put it on the map of the world”.

Israeli and Sudanese media sources already revealed that al-Burhān left to he capital of Uganda, Kampala in an unannounced visit lasting for one day. Sources said that al-Burhān shall meet with the President of Uganda and will discuss with him a number of matters.

Israeli media sources said that the meeting, which brought together Netanyahu and al-Burhān lasted approximately two hours, explaining that the two discussed “the possibility of allowing Israeli planes to cross the Sudanese airspace, and that will shorten the time of trips to South America”.

According to what was presented by the Israeli media from their sources the connections “started some time ago with Sudan, which strives for the mediation of Israel to open gates to the American administration of Donald Trump towards Khartoum, and by that to take off the name of Sudan from the list of countries supporting terrorism”. Adding that “Netanyahu raised this matter to Pompeo during their last meeting in Washington last week. The issue moved the still water of this dead end, since Pompeo called upon al-Burhān yesterday to visit the American capital Washington next week”.

Before his departure to Uganda Netanyahu said that if the relations are normalized between “Israel” and Sudan, that that will shorten the travels of airplanes from “Israel” to Brazil.

The Ugandan President announced that his country studies the possibility to open an embassy in Jerusalem, and on that Netanyahu expressed that this might happen as a step in the close future.

The Israeli media already revealed that the real reason behind Netanyahu’s visit to Uganda was to contact the leaders of other states in the region, which has no connection with “Israel”.

The “Jerusalem Post” newspaper in its Sunday edition already wrote from high-ranking officials in the White House that the United States strives for normalization between “Israel” and a number of Arab states in the Middle East.

It should be pointed out that al-Burhān took power last April as Chairman of the of the .military Council that deposed the former Sudanese President ‘Umar al-Bašīr with the support the Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The two deposited initially $500 million in the Sudanese Central Bank within “a bundle of helps”, which’s total sum is $3 billion, in order to preserve their influence over Sudan.

Media report point out that al-Burhān continues the operation of cooperation holding Sudanese soldiers in the Saudi Coalition against Yemen.
