The police of the Iranian province of Hūzestān dismantled separatist terrorist group made up of 8 people, which was working on terrorist acts and assassinations. It was recording some of its acts and was sending it abroad for proof. The detention of several people in connection to this net is ongoing, hence they are identified and will be detained soon.
Commander of the police in the Iranian province of Hūzestān, Major Ḥaydar ‘Abbās-zāde that terrorist cell made up of 8 people were detained.
[‘Abbās]-zāde said in a interview with the official Iranian IRNA News Agency on Tuesday that a separatist terrorist cell was identified and dismantled in the city of Šādegān in the province of Hūzestān in the southwest of the country.
He added that “during the autumn of last year members of a separatist terrorist cell assassinated the commander of the mobile forces in Dārhavīn, Colonel ‘Abd al-Ḥoseyn Moğaddam and wounded a police officer in the police station of al-Hanāfira. They opened fire on the compounds of the Revolutionary Guards, and the police, and also took armed sabotage. They also pained the false flag of the separatist groups in the city of Šādegān“.
He continued: “after that all members of this met has become known during an intelligence operation by the intelligence police and the general security in Hūzestān, in cooperation with the attorney general in the city of Šādegān“.
Major ‘Abbās-zāde clarified that “the members of this terrorist cell documented some of their acts and sent them abroad”.
He pointed out that officers of the intelligence and the general security revealed eight members of the separatist terrorist cell by using special measures, and they were detained in cooperation with the attorney general in the city of Šādegān.
Commander of Hūzestān province also clarified that “there are a number of people connected to this separatist terrorist cell. They are identified and shall be apprehended soon”.

وقال زاده في مقابلة مع وكالة إرنا الرسمية الإيرانية اليوم الثلاثاء إنه تمّ تحديد شبكة إرهابية انفصالية وتفكيكها في مدينة شادكان التابعة لمحافظة خوزستان جنوب غرب البلاد
وأضاف”في خريف العام الماضي، قام عناصر من شبكة إرهابية انفصالية، باغتيال قائد قوات التعبئة في دارخوين العقيد عبدالحسين مجدم، وإصابة ضابط شرطة بجروح في مركز شرطة الخنافرة، وإطلاق النار على مقرات حرس الثورة والشرطة والحوزة العلمية والسطو المسلح، ورسم العلم المزيف للجماعات الانفصالية في مدينة شادكان
وتابع: “بعد ذلك تمّ التعرف على جميع أعضاء هذه الشبكة من خلال عمل استخباراتي من قبل شرطة المخابرات والأمن العام في خوزستان، وتعاون ودعم المدعي العام لمدينة شادكان
وأوضح العميد عباس زاده أن “أعضاء هذه الشبكة الإرهابية قاموا بتوثيق بعض أعمالهم وإرسالها للخارج
وأشار إلى أن ضباط المخابرات والأمن العام قاموا بكشف ثمانية عناصر من الشبكة الإرهابية الانفصالية باتخاذ تدابير خاصة، وجرى اعتقالهم بالتنسيق مع المدعي العام لمدينة شادكان
قائد شرطة خوزستان، أوضح أيضاً أن “هناك عدد من الأشخاص المرتبطين بهذه الشبكة الإرهابية الانفصالية، تمّ تحديدهم وسيتم اعتقالهم لاحقاً
