The Iraqi House of Representatives grants trust to the government of Prime Minister-designate Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī and the reporter of al-Mayadeen confirms that the Iraqi Parliament approved 15 ministerial posts and refused 5.
Today, on Thursday Iraqi Prime Minister Muṣṭafā al-Kāẓimī and a number of ministers swore in constitutionally before the special session of the Parliament dedicated to the vote on giving trust for the formulation of government has ended.
Reporter of al-Mayadeen delivered that the Iraqi Parliament has approved 15 ministerial tasks and refused 5, upon which it delayed voting over the candidates for the foreign and the oil posts.
He reported that the Parliament has accepted Ğuma‘a ‘Annād as Minister of Defense, Nāṣir Ḥussayn Bandar Ḥamad as Minister of Transportations, Arkān Šahhāb Aḥmad as Minister of Telecommunications, while Ḥikmat Nāṣir couldn’t gain approval from the House of Representatives to be Minister of Refuge and Refugees.
In a statement by al-Kāẓimī shortly before the vote, he said that his government “is the government of solution and not a government of crisis, and I strive to urgently confront the pressing issues”, swearing to “solve the consequences of the economic crisis by rationalizing the expanses and by negotiating to restore Iraq’s share in the oil production”.
He vowed to hold early elections after the election law was completed, refusing to allow Iraq to be used for clashes, according to his words.
He posted a tweet on Twitter after the members of his cabinet were granted trust saying in it: “I will work with all my dear ministerial team with an upmost effort to gain the trust and support of our people. My gratitude to all, who supported us, and my hope is that all political powers will join us to confront the hard challenges. The sovereignty of Iraq, its security, its stability, and its flourish is our path”.
On his own term former Iraqi Prime Minister ‘Ādil ‘Abd al-Mahdī praised the new leader for obtaining trust and said: “We call upon all, and ourselves to stand by the new government to provide all means of support and help so that the government and the country can surpass the hard and complex circumstances.
On their own term, the Iraqi Ḥizb Allah Battalions said: “We are aware of the huge pressure applied on the devoted group of our brothers in the House of Representatives during the vote on the government”, confirming that “the pressure on the representatives will not absolve the continuation to apprehend those involved in the crime of assassinating the martyr leaders”. That being a notion to commanders Abū Mahdī al-Muhandis and Qāsem Soleymānī.

مجلس النواب العراقي يمنح الثقة لحكومة رئيس الوزراء المكلف مصطفى الكاظمي، ومراسل الميادين يؤكد أن البرلمان العراقيّ وافق على 15 حقيبة وزارية ورفض 5
أدّى رئيس الوزراء العراقي مصطفى الكاظمي وعدد من الوزراء اليمين الدستورية فجر اليوم الخميس، قبل أن يرفع مجلس النواب جلسته المخصّصة للتصويت على منح الثقة للتشكيلة الحكوميّة
وأفاد مراسل الميادين بأن البرلمان العراقيّ وافق على 15 حقيبة وزارية ورفض 5، فيما أجّل التصويت على مرشّحي حقيبتي الخارجية والنفط
وأضاف أن البرلمان صوت على جمعة عناد وزيراً للدفاع، وناصر حسين بندر حمد وزيراً للنقل، وأركان شهاب أحمد وزيراً للاتصالات، فيما لم تحصل موافقة مجلس النواب على ثناء حكمت ناصر وزيراً للهجرة والمهجرين
وفي بيان أدلى به الكاظمي قبيل جلسة التصويت، قال إن حكومته “حكومة حل لا حكومة تأزيم، وأسعى لمواجهة عاجلة للقضايا الملحة”، متعهداً “بمعالجة تداعيات الأزمة الاقتصادية، من خلال ترشيد الإنفاق والتفاوض لاستعادة حصة العراق من تصدير النفط
ووعد بإجراء انتخابات مبكرة بعد استكمال القانون الانتخابي، رافضاً أن يستخدم العراق ساحة للاعتداءات، بحسب ما قال
ونشر تغريدة له على “تويتر” عقب منح أعضاء حكومته الثقة قال فيها: “سأعمل بمعيّة الفريق الوزاري الكريم بشكلٍ حثيثٍ على كسب ثقة ودعم شعبنا. امتناني لكل من دعمنا، وأملي أن تتكاتف القوى السياسية جميعاً لمواجهة التحديات الصعبة. سيادة العراق وأمنه واستقراره وازدهاره مسارنا
بدوره، هنّأ رئيس الحكومة العراقي السابق عادل عبد المهدي الرئيس الجديد نيله الثقة، وقال: “ندعو الجميع وأنفسنا إلى الالتفاف حول الحكومة الجديدة لتوفير كل وسائل الدعم والمساعدة، ليتسنى لها وللبلاد تجاوز الظروف الصعبة المعقدة
من جهتها، قالت كتائب حزب الله العراق: “نقدر الضغط الكبير على الفئة المخلصة من الإخوة في مجلس النواب خلال التصويت على الحكومة”، مؤكدة أن “الضغوط على النواب لا تعفي من الاستمرار بملاحقة المتورطين في جريمة اغتيال القادة الشهداء”، في إشارة إلى القادة أبو مهدي المهندس وقاسم سليماني
