On a statement on Sunday the Pakistani Army announced the killing of more than 200 members of the Ṭālebān and terrorists belonging to it” in the clashes along the border with Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Army talked about the killing of 23 troops in its ranks in the clashes along the border with Afghanistan.
On his behalf the spokesman of the Afghan Ṭālebān Movement reported that its forces killed 58 Pakistani soldiers while performing a night operation along shared border between the two countries.
On Saturday night heavy clashes broke out with firearms between the Pakistani forces and the fighters of the Afghan Ṭālebān Movement all along the border between the two countries in yet another escalating conflict between Islamabad and Kabul.
Security officials from both sides said that the confrontation broke out after forces of Ṭālebān attacked Pakistani militia positions along the border in response to what was described as Pakistani “areal aggressions” against the capital Kabul.
