The Iṣlāḥ (Reform) Party condemns the explosion that targeted its main headquarters in the middle of the city of Ta‘izz in Southwestern Yemen.

The Iṣlāḥ (Reform) Party condemned “the treacherous crime that aimed to blow up the main headquarters building on the Ğamāl ‘Abd an-Nāṣir Street in the city of Ta‘izz”, in Southwestern Yemen.

On Thursday it explained that the detonation of an explosive device that targeted its headquarters caused the martyrdom of 3 people and the injury of 13, some of the injured being dangerous.

This comes amidst escalating political tensions and clashes on the ground in Southern Yemen between the Emirati supported “Southern Transitional Council” and the so called “Presidential Leadership Council” put together by the Saudis.

The “Southern Transition” aims to expand its presence and influence and to impose its control as a reality over many oil regions and strategic areas, like airports, harbors and border crossings in Aden, Say’ūn, the Coast of Ḥadramawt, al-Mahra and Šabwa. It is taking the form of a well studied gradual coup against the so called “Presidential Leadership Council”, while the analysts describe what going on as the prelude to enforce a practical division on the ground and for declaring breaking away.

دان حزب الإصلاح “الجريمة الغادرة التي استهدفت تفجير مبنى مقره الرئيسي. في شارع جمال عبد الناصر بمدينة تعز”، جنوب غرب اليمن

وأوضح، اليوم الخميس، أن تفجير العبوة. الناسفة الذي طال مقره، راح ضحيته 3 قتلى و13 جريحاً، إصابة. بعضهم خطرة 

يأتي ذلك وسط تصاعد التوترات السياسية والاشتباكات الميدانية في جنوب اليمن بين “المجلس. الانتقالي الجنوبي”، المدعوم إماراتياً وما يسمى “مجلس القيادة الرئاسي” المؤلف سعودياً.

ويسعى “الانتقالي الجنوبي” إلى توسيع انتشاره ونفوذه وفرض سيطرته كأمر واقع. على عدد من المناطق النفطية والمواقع الاستراتيجية كالمطارات والموانئ والمنافذ في عدن وسيئون وساحل. حضرموت والمهرة وشبوة، فيما يشبه انقلاباً تدريجياً مدروساً على. ما يسمى “مجلس القيادة الرئاسي”، وسط حديث مراقبين. عن أن ما يجري يُعد مقدمة لفرض التقسيم عملياً على الأرض تهيئة لإعلان الانفصال
