International condemnation in the Security Council for the Israeli aggression against the Iranian Consulate in Syria. They denounce the targeting of diplomatic missions as these are dangerous provocations and escalations.

At the request of Russia, the UN Security Council held an emergency session to study the Israeli aggression against the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital Damascus.

Permanent envoy of Syria at the United Nations Quṣay aḍ-Ḍaḥḥāk explained what happened as a result of the Israeli aggression describing it as a dangerous precedent and vicious violation of the international treaties and charters. He confirmed that the Israeli and American crimes are taking place in coordination with terrorist organizations, underlining that Washington belittles the Council’s resolutions and the souls of the 33 civilian martyrs in Gaza.

Aḍ-Ḍaḥḥāk said that Washington encourages international law to hit a dead end and encourages the aggressor, confirming that Syria will remain working for the recovery of the occupied Syrian Golan.

Syria’s envoy underlined that the Israeli aggressions will not undermine his country in its firm position supporting the Palestinian people.

He said that “Syria holds the criminals of the Israeli war and its accomplices in the American administration responsible for the repercussions of the continuous aggressions”.

Russia’s representative in the UN Valery Nebenzhya requested the Security Council to condemn “Israel” for its aggression in the Middle East, including Syria, confirming that “Israel” disregards the Security Council’s resolution about the ceasefire in Gaza by the encouragement of the United States that said that “the resolution is not biding”.

He criticized the three Western countries that rejected condemning the Israeli aggression against the diplomatic mission (the United States, Great Britain, and France), satirizing that these states claim that they know everything by the minute, yet in this instance they know nothing about what has happened in Syria, moreover held Iran responsible saying: “I this case these states carry the consequences of anything that might happen”.

On his behalf, the envoy of China at the UN confirmed that the situation in the Middle East has become more dangerous than any time before, calling upon the states that influence “Israel” to use it.

On his behalf, Algeria’s envoy at the UN ‘Ammār ibn Ğāmi‘ recounted the aggression against the Iranian Consulate as a provocation, in itself an escalation of the situation in the region confirming that it has to be condemned.

The envoys of Sweden, South Korea, and Sierra Leone expressed their concerns about the escalation and criticized the attack against the diplomatic mission. They also expressed their sorrow for not respecting Security Council resolution number 2728 ruling for the ceasefire in Gaza and ending the tragedy that is happening, warning against a widespread conflict in the region.

Japan said that the information about the attack is still not full.

Slovenia’s envoy Boštjan Malovrh condemned the Israeli attack and expressed the urgent need to decrease the tension in the region by implementing the Security Council’s ceasefire resolution in Gaza.

The envoy of Guayana strongly condemned the Israeli crime and called for raising alarm and calming the situation in the region.

عقد مجلس الأمن الدولي جلسة عاجلة، الثلاثاء، بطلب من روسيا، لبحث العدوان الإسرائيلي، على القنصلية الإيرانية في العاصمة السورية دمشق.

وشرح مندوب سوريا الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة قصي الضحاك ما وقع نتيجة العدوان. الإسرائيلي، واصفاً إياه بالسابقة الخطيرة وانتهاك جسيم للمواثيق والأعراف الدولية، وأكد أن الجرائم الإسرائيلية والأميركية. تتم بالتنسيق مع تنظيمات إرهابية، مشدداً على أنّ واشنطن تستخف بقرارات المجلس وبأرواح 33 ألف شهيد مدني في غزة. 

وقال الضحاك إنّ واشنطن تشجع على ضرب القانون الدولي بعرض الحائط، وتشجع. المعتدي، مؤكداً أنّ سوريا ستبقى تعمل من أجل استرجاع الجولان السوري المحتل. 

وشدّد مندوب سوريا على أنّ الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية لن تثني بلاده عن مواقفها الراسخة، والداعمة للشعب الفلسطيني.

وقال إن “سوريا تحمّل مجرمي الحرب الإسرائيليين وشركاءهم في الإدارة الأميركية المسؤولية عن تبعات الاعتداءات المتكررة”.

وطالب ممثل روسيا لدى الأمم المتحدة، فاسيلي نيبينزيا، مجلس الأمن بإدانة “إسرائيل” على. عدوانها في الشرق الأوسط، بما في ذلك سوريا، مؤكداً أنّ “إسرائيل” تتجاهل قرار مجلس. الأمن وقف النار في غزة عبر تشجيع. من الولايات المتحدة، التي قالت إن “القرار غير ملزم”.

وانتقد الدول الغربية الثلاث التي رفضت إدانة العدوان الإسرائيلي على بعثة دبلوماسية. وأكد مندوب الصين لدى الأمم المتحدة من جهته أنّ الوضع في الشرق الأوسط بات أخطر. من أي وقت مضى، مناشداً الدول التي لها نفوذ على “إسرائيل” أن تمارسه.

بدوره، عدّ مندوب الجزائر لدى الأمم المتحدة، عمار بن جامع، العدوان على القنصلية الإيرانية. استفزازاً، من شأنه تصعيد التوتر في المنطقة ، مؤكداً وجوب إدانته.

وأعرب مندوبو كل من سويسرا وكوريا الجنوبية وسيراليون عن القلق من التصعيد، ونددوا بالهجوم. على بعثة دبلوماسية، كما أعربوا عن الأسف لعدم احترام قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2728، والقاضي بوقف إطلاق النار. في غزة، ووقف المآسي التي تحدث، محذّرين من خطورة توسع الصراع في المنطقة. 

أما اليابان فقالت إن المعلومات بشأن الهجوم لا تزال غير مكتملة.
