Na‘īm as-Suhayl is a Sheikh of the Banī Tamīm tribe, one of the many in Iraq. He was working as Deputy Director of the Presidential Office in the Iraqi Republic.

The new Iraqi PM, the biggest mistake, has worked as director of the Iraqi tribes and clans, and he is the brother of MP Hišām as-Suhayl in the Iraqi Parliament.
Sheikh Na‘īm ‘Abd al-Malik ‘Alī as-Suhayl (Abū ‘Izz ad-Dīn) was one of the biggest sheikhs of the Banī Tamīm. He graduated in the Department of Administration and Economy in the University of al-Mustanṣiriyya in the mid-90s. Before the fall of the infamous Ṣaddām regime he worked in trade, entrepreneurship and agricultural administration for the as-Suhayl family in Baghdad.
As being the brother of Sheikh Ṭālib as-Suhayl he kept distance from working in the public sector, as this was his own and his family’s standing towards the regime.
He was elected in 2003 to be the general director in office of the late President Ğalāl Ṭalabānī.

الشيخ نعيم عبد الملك علي السهيل (أبو عز الدين) من كبار شيوخ بني تميم. تخرج من كلية الإدارة والاقتصاد جامعة المستنصرية منتصف التسعينات. عمل قبل سقوط نظام صدام البائد في التجارة والأعمال الحرة وإدارة مزارع آل السهيل في بغداد
استبعد من العمل في مؤسسات الدولة كونه ابن شقيق الشيخ طالب السهيل وكذلك لمواقفه ومواقف عائلته من النظام
تم تعيينه بعد عام 2003 مديرًا عامًا في مكتب الرئيس العراقي الراحل جلال طلباني
