Lieutenant-General Aḥmad Waḥīdī, former Iranian Defense Minister confirms that at of 70 American soldiers in the Iranian missile attack on the ‘Ayn al-Asad American base in Iraq and the injury of 200 others, as a minimum.
Lieutenant-General Aḥmad Waḥīdī, former Iranian Defense Minister said in a speech of his in the University of Esfahan: “We are certain that the Iranian missile attack on the ‘Ayn al-Asad American base in Iraq left behind at least 70 dead and 200 injured”.
Initially America denied any casualties in their ranks, than announced few days ago the injury of 11 American soldiers by the shockwaves in the Iranian attack on the ‘Ayn al-Asad base. Trump as a side note of the “Davos Forum” said that “there are light injuries, like headaches, and these are not dangerous wounds”.
It was preceded by the announcement of the US Central Command about additional injured American soldiers, who were brought to Germany to get treatment after their injury in the Iranian bombardment on ‘Ayn al-Asad.
Than a telephone call was released in a program of the “Washington Journal” from one of the soldiers’ father [stationed] in ‘Ayn al-Asad, confirming in it that he has no information at all about his son, even though a week has passed from the retaliation. Affirming his lack of knowledge wether he was alive or dead at the time no one was about to call him.
About the Ukrainian plane Waḥīdī said that “the accident took place in total war conditions , and Iran could have not announced it, just like America did, and as Trump did in the matter of our missile attack”.
The Iranian Armed Forces announced that the Ukrainian plane was downed by its air defense by mistake, after it closed on a sensitive military center.

قال وزير الدفاع الإيراني الأسبق العميد أحمد وحيدي خلال كلمة له في جامعة اصفهان “نحن متأكدون أن الهجوم الصاروخي الإيراني على قاعدة عين الأسد الأميركية في العراق أوقع 70 قتيلاً و 200 مصاب كحد أقل
ونفت أميركا بدايةً وقوع أي إصابات في صفوفها، ثم أعلنت منذ أيام إصابة 11 جنديّاً أميركياً بارتجاج دماغي في الهجوم الإيراني على قاعدة عين الأسد. وقال ترامب على هامش “منتدى دافوس” إن “هناك إصابات خفيفة مثل الصداع وهذه لا تعد إصابات خطير
سبق ذلك، إعلان القيادة المركزية الأميركية عن اصابة جنوداً أميركيين إضافيين، نُقلوا إلى ألمانيا لتلقي العلاج بعد إصابتهم في القصف الإيراني على عين الأسد
فيما انتشر اتصال هاتفي في برنامج “واشنطن جورنال” لوالد أحد الجنود الأميركيين في قاعدة “عين الأسد” يؤكد خلاله عدم معرفته أي معلومات عن ابنه رغم مرور أسبوع على الرد، مشدداً على جهله ما إذا كان حياً أم لا في وقت الذي لا يجيب أحد على اتصالاته
وحول الطائرة الأوكرانية قال وحيدي “لقد وقعت الحادثة في ظروف حربية كاملة وكان بإمكان إيران أن لا تعلن عنها مثلما تصرفت أميركا وترامب في قضية هجومنا الصاروخي
وأعلنت القوات المسلحة الإيرانية أن سقوط الطائرة الأوكرانية تم بدفاعاتها الجوية عن طريق الخطأ بعد اقترابها من مركز عسكري حساس
