After days of acts of destruction and protests, Tehran and many Iranian cities witness protests supporting the headscarf and the Islamic Revolution.

Vocal marches started in Tehran and a number of Iranian cities on Friday chanting slogans supporting the Islamic Republic and renouncing the acts of destruction.

The government-organized marches called for support for the headscarf after days of protests about the death of Ms. Mahsā Aminī, who got detained by the “Moral Police” and entered a coma, before losing her life under circumstances still unclear.

Earlier today the Iranian Army responded to the protests and the acts of destruction that were witnessed in a number of regions saying that “these events emanating from despair are all part of a vicious strategy of the enemy with the aim of weakening the position of the Islamic system and the unity of the people”. Thus confirming its readiness to block “various conspiracies the enemies try to play out”.

At the same time, the leadership of the internal security forces of Gīlān Province k n the north of the country announced the “arrest of 211 personnel causing destruction” handing them over to the designated judiciary.

Two days ago on Wednesday, the Iranian “IRNA” news agency mentioned that 4 police officers were injured and a Police deputy succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday in the southern city of Širāz following protests.

بعد أيام من أعمال الشغب والاحتجاجات، طهران ومدن إيرانية عدة تشهد تظاهرات تأييداً لوضع الحجاب ودعماً للجمهورية الإسلامية

انطلقت تظاهرات حاشدة في طهران ومدن إيرانية، اليوم الجمعة، رافعةً شعارات داعمة للجمهورية الإسلامية ورافضة لأعمال الشغب

ودعت إلى هذه التظاهرات منظمة حكومية تأييداً لوضع الحجاب، بعد أيام من احتجاجات على وفاة الشابة مهسا أميني التي أوقفتها “شرطة الأخلاق”، ودخلت في غيبوبة قبل أن تتوفى في ظروف لم تتضح بعد

وفي وقت سابق اليوم، علّق الجيش الإيراني على الاحتجاجات وأعمال الشغب التي شهدتها مناطق عدة، قائلاً إنّ “هذه الإجراءات النّاجمة عن اليأس هي استراتيجيّة خبيثة للأعداء، هدفها إضعاف مكانة النظام الإسلامي ووحدة الشعب”، مؤكداً استعداده للتّصدي “لمختلف المؤامرات التي يحوكها الأعداء

وبالتوازي، أعلنت قيادة قوى الأمن الداخلي في محافظة غيلان شمال البلاد “اعتقال 211 عنصراً من مثيري الشغب”، وتحويلهم إلى القضاء المختص. 

وكانت وكالة “إرنا” الإيرانية ذكرت قبل يومين أنّ 4 من ضباط الشرطة أصيبوا وتوفي مساعد شرطة متأثراً بجراحه التي أصيب بها يوم الثلاثاء في مدينة شيراز الجنوبية، في أعقاب احتجاجات واشتباكات مع الشرطة
