Russian governmental sources have leaked more details about the discussions held in Ankara between the Russian and the Turkish delegations to study the Syrian case, while neither sides have clarified the details and the results of these discussions.

According to the Russian “Sputnik” news agency Turkey hasn’t responded to the Russian proposal to withdraw from the observation points in Idlib province, but instead, after that it asked Russia to hand over the cities of “Tall Rif‘at” and “Minbiğ” in rural Aleppo.
It mentioned that the Turkish demand did not receive a positive response from the Russian side, affirming that the negotiations have ended without yielding any tangible results or understanding about Idlib.
The agency cited sources saying: “Turkey did not accept the suggestions of Russia to withdraw the observation post located inside the areas under control by the Syrian Army, to decrease the amount of troops it has in the region and to pull out the weapons and military supplies from there”.
It should be remembered that Sputnik had already mentioned yesterday that Russia proposed to Turkey to reduce the number of Turkish observation posts in Idlib, which was rejected by Ankara. It was also pointed out that the two sides haven’t reached an understanding in the matter.

سرَّبت وسائل الإعلام الروسية الحكومية مزيداً من التفاصيل عن المباحثات المنعقدة في أنقرة بين وفدين تركي وروسي لبحث الملف السوري، وذلك وسط عدم تصريح كلا الطرفين عن تفاصيل ونتائج المباحثات
وبحسب وكالة “سبوتنيك” الروسية فإن تركيا لم تتجاوب مع مقترح روسي بالانسحاب من نقاط المراقبة من محافظة إدلب، بل طلبت بعد ذلك تسليمها مدينتي “تل رفعت” و”منبج” بريف حلب
وذكرت أن الطلب التركي لم يلقَ رداً إيجابياً من الجانب الروسي، مؤكدة على أن المباحثات انتهت دون أن تتمخض عن نتائج ملموسة أو تفاهم حول إدلب
ونقلت الوكالة عن مصدر قوله: “تركيا لم تقبل اقتراحات روسيا بالانسحاب من نقاط المراقبة الواقعة داخل المناطق التي يسيطر عليها الجيش السوري وتقليص عدد قواتها في المنطقة، وسحب الأسلحة والمعدات العسكرية منها
