The Tunisian Ministry of Defense announce the killing of 3 members of the “Army of the Caliphate” organization in a joint operation between the army, the National Guard, and the security forces in al-Qaṣṣarīn Province.
On Friday the Tunisian Ministry of Defense announced that 3 members of the “Army of the Caliphate” got killed in a joint operation between the army, the National Guard, and the security forces in al-Qaṣṣarīn Province.
In a statement the Ministry mentioned that “three terrorists belonging to the Army of the Caliphate terrorist organization were dealt with in a field operation at the as-Sallūm Heights in al-Qaṣṣarīn Province.
The statement pointed out that “the operation is still ongoing to apprehend what is left from the terrorist troops of the organization”.
It should be mentioned that the Tunisian Army clashed with terrorist troops at the as-Sallūm Heights in al-Qaṣṣarīn Province last month, which led to the injury of two soldiers.

وزارة الدفاع التونسية تعلن مقتل 3 من أعضاء تنظيم “جند الخلافة” في عملية مشتركة بين الجيش والحرس والأمن في ولاية القصرين
أعلنت وزارة الدفاع التونسية، اليوم الجمعة، أنّ 3 من أعضاء تنظيم “جند الخلافة” قتلوا في عملية مشتركة بين الجيش والحرس والأمن في ولاية القصرين.
وذكرت الوزارة في بيان أنه تمّ “القضاء على ثلاثة إرهابيين تابعين لتنظيم جند الخلافة الإرهابي في عملية ميدانية في مرتفعات السلوم من ولاية القصرين”.
وأشار البيان إلى أنّ “العمليات ما زالت جارية لتعقب ما تبقى من العناصر الإرهابية للتنظيم”.
يُذكر أنّ الجيش التونسي اشتبك مع عناصر إرهابية في جبل السلوم في محافظة القصرين الشهر الفائت، ما أسفر عن إصابة عسكريين اثنين.
