A senior commentator of the Middle East affairs at the Israeli “Channel 12” suggests an Israeli plan to support the protesters in as-Suwaydā’ province militarily and financially.

On Tuesday the Israeli media revealed some Israeli requests to give military and financial support to the protesters in as-Suwaydā’ province who are calling for regime change, to improve the living conditions and the implementation of the UN resolution 2254 (protecting the civilians, let the humanitarian relief reach without conditions and cease the armed operations).

He explained that the corridor could be developed in stages and might include at the end, in case it is needed “supplying the Druze with weapons to defend their lands. This matter needs a military umbrella (American-Israeli-Jordanian) planes participating in the security of the trucks if that is needed”.
A few days prior President of the Arab Unity Party in Lebanon Wi’ām Wahhāb and member of the Syrian parliament Hālid ‘Abbūd revealed an Israeli plan to set the Syrian south on fire, especially as-Suwaydā’ province.

كشفت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، اليوم الثلاثاء، مطالب إسرائيلية بتقديم دعم عسكري ومادي للمتظاهرين في محافظة السويداء، الذين يدعون إلى التغيير السياسي، وتحسين الأحوال المعيشية، وتطبيق القرار الدولي 2254 (القاض بحماية المدنيين، ووصول المساعدات الإنسانية دون قيود، ووقف الأعمال المسلحة).
وعن كيفية دعم التظاهرات الأخيرة في الجنوب السوري، قال كبير المعلقين لشؤون الشرق الأوسط في القناة “12” الإسرائيلية، إيهود يعاري إنّ دعم “إسرائيل” يجب أن يكون من خلال “فتح ممر إنساني عبر قرية العانات”، والتي تبعد نحو 54 كم عن مدينة السويداء عند الحدود السورية الأردنية.
وقال يعاري إنّه من خلال قرية العانات، تستطيع “الشاحنات الدرزية إيصال الإمدادات العسكرية والإنسانية الإسرائيلية” على طول طريق بطول 55 كيلومتراً.
كما لفت إلى أنّ هذا الأمر يُواجه مشكلاتٍ عدّة أولها أنّ العاهل الأردني، الملك عبد الله الثاني مُتردد في التدخّل من تلقاء نفسه في الحرب على سوريا، “وذلك على الرغم من التقارب بين الهاشميين والدروز”، علماً أنّ (وزير الخارجية الحالي للأردن من طائفة الموحدين الدروز).
وعن المُشكلة الثانية التي يواجهها المشروع الإسرائيلي لدعم المتظاهرين في محافظة السويداء، قال يعاري إنّ إدارة الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن، “لم تتخذ سوى خطواتٍ مُنخفضة المستوى” بشأن ما سمته “الثورة” الدرزية.
أما المشكلة الثالثة وفق كبير المعلقين لشؤون الشرق الأوسط في القناة “12” الإسرائيلية، فهي أنّ إنشاء ممر للدروز يتطلب “إجماعاً واسعاً من الدول الغربية ودول الخليج”.
وأوضح أنّ فكرة الممر من الممكن تطويرها على مراحل، وربما تشمل في نهاية المطاف، إذا لزم الأمر، “تزويد الدروز بالأسلحة للدفاع عن أراضيهم، وهذا الأمر يتطلّب مظلة عسكرية (طائرات أميركية- أردنية – إسرائيلية) مشتركة لتأمين الشحنات إن لزم الأمر”.
