The Syrian Army started a military operation at the southeastern front in Idlib Province, the last stronghold of the “Nuṣra Front” and its allies in the Northeast of Syria.

The Syrian Army’s units already started to advance at midnight at the southeastern front in Idlib Province, after intensive artillery and aerial cover.
From field source: “Units of the army managed to take control of the town of Luwaybada, to the north of the town of Abū Dālī in the southern countryside of Idlib, after intensive artillery and arial cover.”
The source continued that the joint Syrian and Russian warplanes continuously perform strikes towards the support point and the supply lines of terrorists in the region, affirming that the operation aims to counter the escalation and the continuous bombardment from the armed groups against the liberated towns. The Syrian Army’s control at the southern Idlib front expanded, according to the Sputnik.
Baššār al-Asad Syrian President already said previously that the liberation of Idlib in a military sense will not take much time, but the authorities first planned out, how to allow the civilians a chance to leave the area.
Al-Asad strongly confirmed that the targets being bombed aerially together with the Russian planes, are terrorist targets.

وعن مصدر ميداني: أن “وحدات من الجيش تمكنت من السيطرة على بلدة لويبدة شمال بلدة أبو دالي بريف إدلب الجنوبي الشرقي بعد تمهيد مدفعي وجوي كثيف
وتابع المصدر أن الطيران الحربي السوري الروسي المشترك يواصل تنفيذ الضربات باتجاه نقاط الدعم الخلفية وخطوط إمداد الارهابيين في المنطقة، مؤكدا أن العملية العسكرية تهدف للرد على التصعيد والقصف المستمر من قبل المجموعات المسلحة على البلدات المحررة، وتوسيع سيطرة الجيش السوري على محور ريف إدلب الجنوبي، بحسب سبوتنيك
وكان الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد، قال في وقت سابق إن تحرير إدلب بالعمل العسكري لن يستغرق الكثير من الوقت، لكن السلطات تخطط أولا لمنح المدنيين الفرصة لمغادرة المنطقة
