The forces of Sana’a are advancing in Ma’rib with the battle intensifying between them and the forces of President Hādī, who is being supported by the Saudi Coalition.
On Friday the Yemeni press service confirmed that the forces of the Yemeni Army and those of the Popular Committees are advancing “in the vicinity of the eastern exit of the city of Ma’rib and the outer Saudi outlet”.
The press service on Friday confirmed that: “the forces of Sana’a are besieging the village of Raġwān and are advancing towards al-‘Alam al-Abyaḍ and an-Naḍūd northeast of Ma’rib”. They are also sieging “the armed groups and the troops of the al-Qā‘ida organization the front of al-‘Alam.
The forces of Sana’a also managed to take a number of positions into their control east of the “Madġil al-Ğid‘ān” county after fierce clashes with the forces of Hādī which were supported by the planes of the Saudi Coalition. As a result of these the commander of the al-Kasāra front and that of the 117. Battalion at Hādī’s forces Major General Aḥmad Qā’id aš-Šar‘abī and a number of his company were killed in the area of Malbūda in the same county in the northwest of Ma’rib province.
Until now the confrontation between the forces of the Sana’a government on one side and Hādī’s forces on the other continue in the southern edge of the area of aṭ-Ṭill‘a al-Ḥamrā’ and other military positions, which overlook the highway connecting the city of Ma’rib with the cities of Madġil al-Ğid‘ān and Ṣirwāḥ leading up to the al-Ğawf – Sana’a intersection.
The planes of the Saudi Coalition ran a series of airstrikes in which they targeted the area of az-Zūr and other military positions recently taken under control by the forces of Sana’a at Ṣirwāḥ county in the west of the province.
Back and forth clashes go on between the two sides at the region of al-‘Alam, which is between the county of Hab and aš-Ša‘f in the province of al-Ğawf and in the county of Raġwān in the north of the oil-rich province of Ma’rib.
In the same context Deputy commander of the Yemeni Armed Forces General Command Major General, ‘Alī al-Mawšikī said: “the army, the popular committees and the tribes of Ma’rib are fighting a prolonged battle, which is very important strategically, nationally, politically, economically, and socially.
Al-Mawšikī confirmed that: “the political and military leadership in Sana’a is absolutely proud and honored to wage this fateful battle, which deserves all the sacrifices”. Thus pointing out that: “This wrested efforts will lead to the liberation of Ma’rib and every inch of the land of Yemen from the filth of the colonizers and the occupiers.
Al-Mawšikī pointed out also that: “the political forces opposing the Yemeni people carried the incorporation of the occupier and the polluting of Yemen on their shoulders”, thus pointing out that: “the Yemeni Armed Forces belonging to the government in Sana’a fight troops, which are nothing but tools in the hands of the occupiers. Their leadership and the sons of their leaders are outside of the county and they are led from hotels in Riyadh, Istanbul, Cairo, and Abū Zabī”.
In response to the description of the U.N. envoy to Yemen Griffith about the ongoing battles in the province saying: “the attack of Anṣār Allah against Ma’rib”, member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council Muḥammad ‘Alī al-Ḥūtī said that: “Griffith describes the battle as an attack on Ma’rib, though that did not stop even for a day since the failure of the attack by the aggression states and their mercenaries against Nahm county northeast of Sana’a launched from Ma’rib”.
Al-Ḥūtī explained that: “Griffith knows well from the beginning that the states of her aggression refused the nine points initiative about Ma’rib and maintained what the liberation of the capital Sana’a prevented them. They did not stop the airstrikes and did not lift the blockade in exchange for stopping the bombardment”.
Following this member of the “Anṣār Allah” Movement’s Political Office Muḥammad al-Buhaytī said today, on Friday that: “the Yemeni Armed Forces are continuing to advance in Ma’rib”.
Al-Buhaytī confirmed to the al-Mayadeen that: “The leadership of the aggression states’ coalition is present in Ma’rib”. Thus pointing out that: “If the states of the aggression agree to stop the war on all fronts then we will stop the battles”.
In a talk about the battle for Ma’rib the leader of the Yemeni Anṣār Allah Movement ‘Abd al-Malik al-Ḥūtī said today, Friday that: “Our battle in Ma’rib, or in any other province is not against the people of the provinces”. He confirmed that: “The people of the provinces are our partners in the conventional identity”. He also confirmed that: “Few of the people of Ma’rib fight under the orders of a Saudi officer”.

الوكلة أكدت اليوم الجمعة، أنّ “قوات صنعاء تحاصر قرية رغوان وتتقدم نحو العلم الأبيض والنضود شمال شرق مأرب”. كما تحاصر أيضاً “مجاميع مسلحة وعناصر تنظيم القاعدة في جبهة العلم
قوات حكومة صنعاء، تمكنت أيضاً من السيطرة على عدد من المواقع شرقي مديرية “مَدْغِل الجِدْعان” بعد مواجهات عنيفة مع قوات هادي المسنودة بطائرات التحالف السعودي، قُتل على إثرها قائد جبهة الكسارة واللواء 117 في قوات هادي، العميد أحمد قائد الشرعبي، وعدد من مرافقيه في منطقة مَلبُودَة في المديرية نفسها شمالي غرب محافظة مأرب

في سياق متصل، قال نائب رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة للقوات المسلّحة اليمنيّة بصنعاء، اللواء الركن علي الموشكي، إن “الجيش واللجان الشعبيّة وقبائل مأرب يخوضون معركة مفصليّة ذات أهميّة استراتيجيّة ووطنيّة وساسيّة واقتصاديّة واجتماعيّة
وأكد الموشكي أن “القيادة السياسيّة والعسكريّة بصنعاء تحملت بكل فخر شرف خوض هذه المعركة المصيريّة، والتي تهون من أجلها كل التضحيات”، لافتاً إلى أن “تلك الجهود المبذولة ستفضي إلى تحرير مأرب وكل شبر من أرض اليمن من دنس المستعمر والمحتل
الموشكي أبرز أيضاً أنّ “القوى السياسيّة المعادية للشعب اليمني، حملت على أكتافها توطين المحتل وتدنيس اليمن”، مشيراً إلى أن “القوات المسلحة اليمنيّة التابعة لحكومة صنعاء تقاتل عناصر هم عبارة عن أدوات للمحتل وقياداتهم وأولاد قيادتهم في الخارج، ويقودونهم من فنادق الرياض واسطنبول والقاهرة وأبو ظبي
ورداً على وصف المبعوث الأممي إلى اليمن مارتن غريفيث المعارك الدائرة في المحافظة بـ”هجوم أنصار الله على مأرب”، قال عضو المجلس السياسي الأعلى في اليمن محمد علي الحوثي، إن “غريفيث يصنف المعركة بالهجوم على مأرب، رغم أنها لم تتوقف حتى اليوم منذ فشل هجوم دول العدوان ومرتزقتها على مديرية نَهْم شمالي شرق صنعاء انطلاقاً من مأرب
الحوثي أوضح أن “غريفيث يعلم منذ البداية أن دول العدوان رفضت مبادرة النقاط التسع بخصوص مأرب وعزمت على المضيّ بما أسمته تحرير العاصمة صنعاء، ولم تقبل أن توقف الغارات وتفك الحصار مقابل إيقاف القصف
في غضون ذلك، قال عضو المكتب السياسي لحركة “أنصار الله” محمد البخيتي، اليوم الجمعة، إن “القوات المسلّحة اليمنية تستمر في التقدّم في مأرب
البخيتي أكّد للميادين أن “قيادة تحالف دول العدوان موجودة في مأرب”، مشيراً إلى أنه “إذا وافقت دول العدوان على وقف الحرب في كل الجبهات فنحن سنوقف المعارك
وفي الحديث عن معركة مأرب، قال قائد حركة “أنصار الله” اليمنية عبد الملك الحوثي، اليوم الجمعة، إن “معركتنا في مأرب أو في أي محافظة هي ليست مع أبناء هذه المحافظات”، مؤكداً أن “أبناء المحافظات هم شركاؤنا في الهوية الإيمانية”، ومؤكداً أن “قلة من أبناء مأرب تقاتل تحت إمرة ضابط سعودي
