The Iranian security announces the dismantle of a terrorist cell in the Hūzestān Province, which was planning to shake the security during “the 40th day remembrance of Imam Ḥussayn”.
The Iranian Ministry of Security thwarted a terrorist cell and dismantled it last Friday. The plan was to shake the security in the southwestern province of Hūzestān.
The Ministry said in a statement: “during the upcoming days of the 40th day remembrance of Imam Ḥussayn the anti-revolutionary voices belonging to some regional states strives to shake the security of the country”.
The statement pointed out that “the general security service staff of Hūzestān managed to inflict a strategic blow on the field on the terrorist cell in southwestern border region of Hūzestān and apprehended tens military weapons”.
It should be remembered that Hūzestān Province has a border more than 500 kilometers on land and waters with Iraq.
Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Moḥammad Ḥosseyn Bāqerī confirmed that “the institution will not be lenient with any attempts enemy movement along the border and will continue to target the terrorist compounds”.
A week before the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that it targeted a compound belonging to “terrorist cells” at the Iraqi border and said that those belonged foreign and some Arab sides at odds with Iran.
Brigadier General Mağīd Arğamand-Far, Deputy Commander of the “Ḥamza Lord of Martyrs” base fo the “Revolutionary Guards” confirmed that 4 centers belonging to terrorist cell were destroyed by the use of smart bombs in Northern Iraq.
He pointed out that “terrorist cells” were concentrating at the vicinity of the Iranian borders.
The western borders of Iran witnessed clashes with armed groups. The matter led to the death of two armed men and the detention of others.

الأمن الإيراني يعلن تفكيك خلية إرهابية في محافظة خوزستان كانت تخطط لزعزعة الأمن خلال “أربعينية الإمام الحسين”.
أعلنت وزارة الأمن الإيرانية رصد خلية إرهابية وتفكيكها، يوم الجمعة الماضي، كانت تخطط لزعزعة الأمن جنوب غرب محافظة خوزستان جنوب غرب إيران.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان: “خلال هذه الأيام القريبة من أربعين الإمام الحسين (ع)، تسعى الزمر المناوئة للثورة والتابعة لبعض دول المنطقة لزعزعة الأمن في البلاد”.
وأشار البيان إلى أنَّ “كوادر الدائرة العامة للأمن في خوزستان تمكنوا من توجيه ضربة ميدانية استخباراتية إلى خلية إرهابية في المنطقة الحدودية جنوب غرب خوزستان، وضبطوا لديها عشرات القطع من الأسلحة الحربية”.
يُذكر أن محافظة خوزستان تشكل أكثر من 500 كم من الحدود المائية والبرية مع العراق.
وكان رئیس هیئة الأرکان العامة للقوات المسلحة الإيرانية، اللواء محمد حسين باقري، أكد أنّ “الهيئة لن تتساهل مع أي تحركات معادية عند حدودها واستمرارها في استهداف المعسكرات الإرهابية”.
وقبل أسبوع، أعلن حرس الثورة الإيراني استهداف مَقارَّ تابعة لـ”خلايا إرهابية” عند الحدود العراقية، وقال إنها تابعة لجهات أجنبية وعربية معادية لإيران.
وأكد العميد مجيد أرجمند فر، نائب قائد مقر “حمزة سيد الشهداء” في “حرس الثورة”، تدمير 4 مراكز تابعة لخلايا إرهابية بقذائف ذكية في شمالي العراق.
وأشار إلى أن “الخلايا الإرهابية” كانت تتمركز على مقربة من الحدود الإيرانية.
وشهدت الحدود الإيرانية الغربية اشتباكات مع جماعات مسلَّحة، الأمر الذي أسفر عن مقتل مسلّحين واعتقال آخرين
