The Iranian President salutes the effort of Qatar to achieve stopping the war and the Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip and the Qatari Foreign Minister confirms that Doha views the constructive role of Tehran with interest as a responsible and wise player.

Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān during his meeting with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān Āl Tānī in Tehran confirmed that Iran values the efforts taken by Qatar to achieve stopping the war and the Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Pezeškiyān also expressed his hopes that “the Islamic states and the all the states committed to the international law would stand on its side and work together to take join efforts to restrain the Zionist Entity and to stop its crimes and genocidal war it had launched in the Gaza”.
Aside from that Pezeškiyān criticized the position of the Western states that claim to support the human rights saying: “these states sometimes cry out because of the trial of a person, but as for the crimes in Faza they not only stay silent, but also support the Entity that is committing these crimes and a genocidal war”.
The Iranian president has also described the level of political relations with Qatar as “excellent”, underlining the need to raise the relations between Iran and Qatar in every field.
On his behalf the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister confirmed that Doha continues its efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and that it “relies in this matter on the constructive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a player characterized by wisdom and responsibility”.
Ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān conveyed the greetings of Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad to Pezeškiyān and said: “we dedicate a special importance to enhancing the strategic and brotherly relations with Iran”.
Earlier on Monday the Qatari Prime Minister held negotiations with the new Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī immediately after arriving in Tehran.
The meeting confirmed the importance of putting an end to the crimes of the forces of the Israeli Occupation against the Palestinians and to end the war against the Gaza Strip, to end the terrorism that is carried out by the settlers in the occupied West Bank that are bringing the region closer to the dangers of escalation.
This counts to be the first meeting for a regional official to Tehran since the new Iranian government took office and Pezeškiyān had been elected as president of Iran in the presidential elections almost two months ago.

الرئيس الإيراني يشيد بجهود قطر لإقرار وقف الحرب والجرائم الإسرائيلية في قطاع غزّة، ووزير. الخارجية القطري، يؤكد أنّ الدوحة تنظر باهتمام إلى الدور البنّاء لطهران لاعباً مسؤولاً وحكيماً.

أكّد الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان، خلال لقائه مع رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية القطري، محمد بن. عبد الرحمن آل ثاني في طهران، أنّ إيران تقدّر جهود قطر لإقرار وقف الحرب والجرائم الإسرائيلية في قطاع غزّة.
كذلك، أعرب بزكشيان عن أمله بأن “تقف الدول الإسلامية وجميع الدول الملتزمة بالقوانين الدولية، إلى جانب. بعضها والعمل معاً لاتخاذ إجراءات مشتركة لكبح الكيان الصهيوني ووقف جرائمه وحرب الإبادة التي يشنّها في غزّة”.
إلى جانب ذلك، انتقد بزشكيان، موقف الدول الغربية التي تزعم أنها تدعم حقوق الإنسان، قائلاً: “هذه الدول أحياناً. تصرخ بسبب محاكمة شخص، لكنها تجاه الجرائم في غزّة لا تصمت. فقط، بل تدعم الكيان الذي يرتكب هذه الجرائم وحرب الإبادة”.
كما وصف الرئيس الإيراني مستوى العلاقات السياسية مع قطر بأنّه “ممتاز”، مشدّداً على ضرورة النهوض بالعلاقات. بين قطر وإيران في سائر المجالات.
بدوره، أكّد رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية القطري، أنّ الدوحة ستواصل جهودها. لتحقيق وقف إطلاق النار في غزّة، وأنّها “تراهن في هذا الخصوص على الدور البنّاء للجمهورية. الإسلامية الإيرانية، بوصفها لاعباً يتصف بالحكمة والمسؤولية”.
فيما أبلغ بن عبد الرحمن، تحيات أمير قطر تميم بن حمد لبزشكيان، وقال: “نولي أهمية خاصة لتعزيز. العلاقات الاستراتيجية والأخوية مع إيران”.
وفي وقتٍ سابق من اليوم، أجرى رئيس الوزراء القطري مباحثات مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني الجديد عباس. عراقتشي فور وصوله إلى طهران.
وأكد اللقاء أهمية وضع حدّ لجرائم قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي ضد الفلسطينيين، وإنهاء الحرب. على قطاع غزة، ووقف الإرهاب الذي يمارسه المستوطنون في الضفة الغربية المحتلة بما يجنّب المنطقة مخاطر التصعيد.
