High-ranking Pakistani military sources confirm to the Iranian IRNA agency that Commander of the Pakistani Army General ‘Iṣām Munīr will visit Tehran within a few days.
On Saturday high ranking military sources confirmed that Commander of the Pakistani Army General ‘Iṣām Munīr will visit Tehran within a few days.
To the Iranian IRNA news agency, the Pakistani military source added: “It is listed on General Munīr’s work schedule in his visit to Tehran to address the regional security developments and to strengthen the bilateral cooperation on the fields of security, border control, and the military”.
The high-ranking military official also confirmed to the Iranian agency that the Commander of the army “has a developed view on working together with the neighboring and friendly states in the context of achieving mutual interests. General Munīr plays an important role in pushing these relations forward”.
Yesterday the new Iranian ambassador to Pakistan and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan confirmed the mutual desire to improve the overall relations, including in the field of trade.
Ambassador Reẓā Amīrī Muqaddam met Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawali Bhutto Zardari on Friday and presented him with his letter of credentials.
Zardari expressed his trust that the new Iranian ambassador will play a key role in helping to strengthen bilateral relations and the coordination between Iran and Pakistan in various fields.
Zardari pointed out a recent meeting between the leaders of Iran and Pakistan at the common border crossing to open a joint border market and the Bolan-Ġabd electric transport project saying that Islamabad desires to improve the stable relations with Tehran, also in the fields of trade and economy.
The Foreign Minister of Pakistan also pointed out the twelfth session of the political negotiations between the two countries in Tehran.
He expressed his confidence that in light of the agreements that were reached the right circumstances to improve the economic relations between Iran and Pakistan are given.
On his behalf, the Iranian ambassador presented the good wishes of the Iranian Foreign Minister to his colleague and said that the bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan noticeably moved forward and that the high-ranking officials in both neighboring countries have a joint desire to improve these relations, especially to increase the trade exchange.
Reẓā Amīrī Muqaddam, the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in Islamabad on 7 June with the aim of strengthening and improving the economic and mutual trade relations and deepening the political relations between the two neighboring states.

مصدر عسكري باكستاني رفيع المستوى يؤكد لوكالة “إرنا” الإيرانية، أن قائد الجيش الباكستاني الجنرال عاصم منير، سيزور طهران خلال الأيام المقبلة
أفاد مصدر عسكري باكستاني رفيع المستوى، اليوم السبت، بأن قائد الجيش الباكستاني الجنرال، عاصم منير، سيزور طهران خلال الأيام المقبلة.
وأضاف المصدر العسكري الباكستاني لوكالة “إرنا” الإيرانية: “مدرج في جدول أعمال الجنرال منير خلال زيارته طهران متابعة التطورات الأمنية الإقليمية، وتعزيز التعاون الثنائي في القطاعات الأمنية والحدودية والعسكرية
كذلك، أكد مسؤول عسكري رفيع في الجيش الباكستاني، للوكالة الإيرانية، أن قائد الجيش “يتحلى بنظرة متقدمة في التعامل مع الجوار والدول الصديقة في إطار الحصول على المصالح المتبادلة، والجنرال منير يلعب دوراً مهماً في الدفع قدماً بهذه العلاقات”.
ويوم أمس، أكد السفير الإيراني الجديد في باكستان، ووزير خارجية باكستان، التصميم المتبادل على تطوير التعاون الشامل، بما في ذلك مجال التجارة.
والتقى السفير رضا أميري مقدم، وزير الخارجية الباكستاني بيلاوال بوتو زرداري، يوم أمس الجمعة، وقدم له نسخة من أوراق اعتماده.
كما أعرب زرداري، عن ثقته في أن السفير الإيراني الجديد سيلعب دوراً إدارياً في المساعدة على تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية والتعاون بين إيران وباكستان في مختلف المجالات.
وأشار زرداري الى الاجتماع الأخير لقادة إيران وباكستان، عند النقطة الحدودية المشتركة، لافتتاح السوق الحدودي المشترك ومشروع نقل الكهرباء بولان – غبد، قائلاً إن إسلام آباد عازمة على تطوير علاقات مستقرة مع طهران، لا سيما في المجالات التجارية الاقتصادية.
كما لفت وزير خارجية باكستان إلى عقد الجولة الثانية عشرة من المشاورات السياسية بين البلدين في طهران.
وأعرب عن ثقته في أنه في ضوء الاتفاقات التي تم التوصل إليها، ستوفر الظروف المواتية لتعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية بين إيران وباكستان.
بدوره، نقل السفير الإيراني تحيات وزير الخارجية الإيراني الحارة لنظيره الباكستاني، وقال إنّ العلاقات الثنائية بين إيران وباكستان نمت بشكل ملحوظ، وأن المسؤولين رفيعي المستوى في البلدين الجارين لديهما تصميم مشترك على تعزيز هذه العلاقات، وخاصة لزيادة حجم التجارة .
ووصل رضا أميري مقدم، السفير الجديد للجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، في 7 حزيران/يونيو إلى إسلام آباد، بهدف تعزيز وتطوير العلاقات الاقتصادية والتبادلات التجارية وتعميق العلاقات السياسية بين البلدين الجارين
