The Algerian Ministry of Defense announces that 7 terrorists were apprehended and others were eliminated at the mountains of Sikīkda to the east of the Algiers. This was done to apprehend this terrorist gang, which was “spreading horror” in the area for years.
According to the statement by the Algerian Ministry of Defense the Algerian Army Forces managed to arrest 7 terrorists at the al-Qull Mountains in the province of Sikīkda east of Algiers.
The statement Chief of Staff of the Algerian Army Lieutenant General Sa‘īd Šanqrīḥa arrived at the scene of the operations, where he army units continue the combing operations.
The statement held: “in the context of the increased efforts our armed forces units carry out in the context of anti-terrorism and continuing search and comb-up operations in the first of Wād ad-Duwwār at the fifth army district detachments of the National Defense Army managed to arrest 7 terrorists yesterday and found the corpse of an other terrorists, who was wounded in the last operation on 19 February. Also 8 Kalashnikov type machine guns and a considerable amount of bombs and others materials were seized”.
The statement added: “following that Lieutenant General Sa‘īd Šanqrīḥa, the Chief of Staff of the Popular Army directly moved to the area of the operation, where he received a message from Major General Ḥambalī Nūr ad-Dīn, commander of the fifth military area and the military units participating in this precise operation”.
It pointed out that “the terrorists who were eliminated in this operation are regarded as the oldest and most dangerous terrorist groups in the region. The results of this operation shall be added to the results that happened on 19 February. All that happened to apprehend these terrorist groups that were spreading horror for years in the area”.
The army had confirmed previously the continuation of confronting the enemy lines after the apprehension of the terrorists was announced.

الدفاع الجزائرية: إلقاء القبض على 7 إرهابيين والقضاء على آخرين

وزارة الدفاع الجزائرية تعلن إلقاء القبض على 7 إرهابيين والقضاء على آخرين بجبال سكيكدة شرقي الجزائر العاصمة، ليتم بذلك القضاء على هذه الجماعة الإرهابية التي كانت “تزرع الرعب” في المنطقة لسنوات.
تمكنت قوات الجيش الجزائري من إلقاء القبض على 7 إرهابيين في جبال القل، بمحافظة سكيكدة شرقي العاصمة، وفق بيان لوزارة الدفاع الجزائرية.
وأضاف البيان أنّ رئيس أركان الجيش الجزائري الفريق سعيد شنقريحة، وصل إلى منطقة العمليات، حيث تواصل وحدات الجيش عمليات التمشيط.
وجاء في نص البيان: “في سياق الجهود الحثيثة التي تبذلها وحدات قواتنا المسلحة في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب ومواصلةً لعملية البحث والتمشيط، في غابة واد الدوار، في الناحية العسكرية الخامسة، ألقت مفارز للجيش الوطني الشعبي، يوم أمس، القبض على 7 إرهابيين، وعثرت على جثة إرهابي آخر كان قد أصيب بجروح في العملية الأخيرة في 19 شباط/فبراير الماضي، فيما تم استرجاع 8 مسدسات رشاشة من نوع كلاشنيكوف وكميات معتبرة من الذخيرة وأغراض أخرى”.
وأضاف البيان: “على إثر ذلك انتقل الفريق السعيد شنقريحة، رئيس أركان الجيش الوطني الشعبي مباشرةً إلى منطقة العملية العسكرية، حيث تفقد برفقة اللواء حمبلي نور الدين، قائد الناحية العسكرية الخامسة، الوحدات العسكرية المشاركة في هذه العملية النوعية”.
وأشار إلى أنّ “الإرهابيين الذين ألقي القبض عليهم في هذه العملية، أو قتلهم، يصنفون من أقدم وأخطر الجماعات الإرهابية في المنطقة. حصيلة هذه العملية تُضاف إلى حصيلة العملية التي حصلت يوم 19 شباط/فبراير الماضي، ليتم بذلك القضاء على هذه الجماعة الإرهابية التي كانت تزرع الرعب لسنوات في المنطقة”.
