The Bahraini religious authority [marğa‘] Sheikh ‘Īsā Qāsim stressed that the normalization refused by the peoples of the nations will surely fall.
In a statement by him criticizing the Israeli-Bahraini agreement, Sheikh ‘Īsā Qāsim confirmed that all the Arab governments, which accepted or will accept normalization with the Occupation know that the normalization is contrary to the will of the people and is only a submission to the common American and Israeli will.
He also stressed that the governments of normalization are living in a mental defeat, which they want to enforce on the people, yet the people have to resist this defeat, according to his expression.
On his own terms, President of the Bahraini Human Rights Forum Bāqir Darwīš said to al-Mayadeen that the normalization by the Bahraini regime is treachery for the Palestinian cause, adding that there is a consensus in Bahrain to refuse the normalization, while the regime forbids protests.
Darwīš made it clear that the state tries to squeeze out statements from certain elements in Bahrain to show support for the step, knowing that there is a Bahraini refusal to the normalization even by the supporters of the regime, which was surprised by the popular outrage.
Darwīš also pointed out that the Bahraini state is under Saudi and Emirati influence and works with the Occupation for more than 20 years, adding that there is a political minority in Bahrain, which gives decrees to the people still committed to the Palestinian cause.
On his own term representative of the resigned “Bahraini Parliamentary Opposition Accord [al-Wifāq]” faction ‘Alī al-Aswad that the Bahraini authority takes its decisions alone [isolated from the people], adding in a conversation with al-Mayadeen that “the Bahraini authorities turn far against those principles and the standing of its people”, expressing that what happens is “a black history in our country”.
The Bahraini society to oppose the normalization with the Zionist enemy have criticized the Bahraini agreement with the Israeli entity, saying in a statement that “the agreement is a step towards a delusional rivalry, which the Arabic region witnesses and which tears apart the main rules and principles standing of the nation about the central cause”.
The statement added that “this step does not reflect the standing of the Bahraini people supporting Palestinian people, which it joins in the struggle for the liberation of Palestine”.
This comes in a time when Bahrain officially joined the normalization camp with the Israeli Occupation after the “historic Emirati agreement” on 13 August this year, after it was announced by the American President, who described it as a “historic day” and amazing, as the announcement of the agreement with the Emirates and Bahrain happened on the day of 11 September.
The White House has announced that an agreement of normalization was reached via a telephone call between Trump, Bahraini King Ḥamad ibn ‘Īsā Āl Halīfa, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The agreement opens full formal diplomatic relations between “Israel” and Bahrain.

وفي بيانٍ ندد فيه بالاتفاق البحريني الإسرائيلي، أكّد الشيخ عيسى قاسم أنَّ كل الأنظمة العربية التي أقدمت أو ستقدم على التطبيع مع الاحتلال تعلم أن التطبيع هو على خلاف إرادة الشعوب ويمثل استجابة للإرادة الأميركية والإسرائيلية معاً
كما شدد على أن الحكومات المطبّعة تعيش هزيمة نفسية يراد فرضها على الشعوب وعلى الشعوب أن تقاوم هذه الهزيمة على حد تعبيره
من جهته، قال رئيس منتدى البحرين لحقوق اﻹنسان باقر درويش للميادين إن تطبيع نظام البحرين هو خيانة للقضية الفلسطينية، مضيفاً أن هناك اجماع في البحرين على رفض التطبيع والنظام يمنع التظاهرات
كما أوضح درويش أن السلطة تحاول استصدار مواقف من قبل بعض الافرقاء في البحرين لاظهار تأييد الخطوة لها، معتبراً أن الرفض البحريني للتطبيع هو من قبل حتى الموالين للسلطة التي تفاجأت بالغضب الشعبي
كذلك، لفت درويش إلى أن سلطة البحرين تخضع لتأثير السعودية والامارات وهي تتعامل مع الاحتلال منذ أكثر من 20 عاماً، مضيفاً أن هناك أقلية سياسية في البحرين تصادر قرار الشعب الملتزم بالقضية الفلسطينية
بدوره، قال النائب عن كتلة “الوفاق البرلمانية البحرينية المعارضة” المستقيلة علي الأسود، إن سلطة البحرين تتخذ قراراتها منفردة، مضيفاً في حديث للميادين، أن “السلطات في البحرين تنقلب على المبادئ بعيداً عن موقف شعبها”، معتبراً أن ما يجري هو “تاريخ أسود في بلادنا
وكانت الجمعية البحرينية لمقاومة التطبيع مع العدو الصهيوني نددت بالاتفاق البحريني مع الكيان الإسرائيلي، قائلةً في بيان إن “الاتفاق خطوة في اتجاه السباق المحموم الذي تشهده المنطقة العربية، والذي يفرط بالثوابت الرئيسية للأمة والموقف المبدئي من القضية المركزية
وأضاف البيان أن “هذه الخطوة لا تمثّل انعكاساً للموقف الشعبي البحريني الداعم للشعب الفلسطيني الذي يشاركه النضال من أجل تحرير فلسطين
هذا ودخلت البحرين رسمياً في محور التطبيع مع الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بعد “اتفاق الإمارات التاريخي” في 13 آب/أغسطس الماضي، وذلك عقب إعلان الرئيس الأميركي ذلك، ووصفه بأنه “يوم تاريخي”، ومذهل، لأن إعلان الاتفاقات مع الإمارات والبحرين، يأتي في ذكرى الحادي عشر من أيلول/ سبتمبر
وأعلن البيت الأبيض أنه تمّ التوصل لاتفاق التطبيع خلال مكالمة هاتفية بين ترامب، وملك البحرين حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة، ورئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، ويقضي الاتفاق بإقامة علاقات دبلوماسية كاملة بين “إسرائيل” والبحرين
