Joint statement by Saudi Arabia and Oman, in which they confirm “their continued efforts to find a solution to the Yemeni crisis and end the humanitarian sufferings of the Yemeni people”. They underline the importance of cooperation and coordination of efforts in the Iranian case.
In a joint statement Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman confirmed “to continue their efforts finding a comprehensive political solution for to end the Yemen crisis and lift the humanitarian sufferings of the Yemeni people”.
The statement also underlined the importance of cooperation about the “Iranian nuclear and missile matter and dealing with it with seriousness and effectiveness. Also to confirm the principle of good neighborliness and respecting the U.N. decisions and the international law and helping the region over all the destabilizing activities”.
The statement praised that “OPEC+” group states’ efforts “led by Saudi Arabia and with the participation of the Sultanate of Oman”, which led to “stability in the oil market and to its balance”. This statement also confirmed the necessity to continue the cooperation to support the stability of these markets.
The two sides announced also their wish to end the troubles of economic cooperation between themselves.
Sultan of Oman Haytam ibn Ṭāriq visited Saudi Arabia yesterday, on Sunday in the company of a vast delegation of ministers and advisors, and he met with King Salmān ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azīz in a visits, which is the first one since he took power last year.
Before the visit there was an interview made with Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Būsa‘īdī by the Saudi “aš-Šarq al-Awsaṭ newspaper, in which he confirmed that his country will not be the third gulf state after the Emirates and Bahrain to sing a peace agreement with “Israel”. Al-Būsa‘īdī also called for Syria’s return to the Arab League and confirmed the role of Iran in Yemen as a supporting role to achieve a solution there, refuting the presence of an Omani mediation to solve the Yemeni crisis.

بيانٌ مشتركٌ للسعودية وعُمان تؤكدان فيه “مواصلة جهودهما لإيجاد حلّ للأزمة اليمنية، ورفع المعاناة الإنسانية عنِ الشعب اليمني”، وتشددان على أهمية التعاون وتنسيق الجهود في الملف الإيراني
أكّدت السعودية وسلطنة عُمان، في بيانٍ مشتركٍ، “مواصلةَ جهودهما لإيجاد حلٍّ سياسيٍّ شاملٍ لإنهاء الأزمة اليمنية، ورفع المعاناة الإنسانية عن الشعب اليمني
وشدّد البيان أيضاً على أهمية التعاون بشأن “الملف النووي والصاروخي الإيراني، والتعامل على نحو جِدّيٍ وفاعلٍ معه، وتأكيد مبادئ حسن الجوار، واحترام القرارات الأممية والشرعية الدولية، وتجنيب المنطقة كل الأنشطة المزعزعة للاستقرار
وأشاد البيان بجهود دول مجموعة “أوبك +”، بـ”قيادة السعودية، وبمشاركة سلطنة عُمان”، والتي أدّت إلى “استقرار الأسواق النفطية وتوازنها”. وأكّد ضرورة الاستمرار في التعاون لدعم استقرار هذه الأسواق
وأعلن الجانبان أيضاً عزمهما على رفع وتيرة التعاون الاقتصادي بينهما
وزار سلطان عُمان هيثم بن طارق السعودية، يوم أمس الأحد، برفقة وفدٍ كبيرٍ من الوزراء والمستشارين، بحيث التقى الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز، في زيارةٍ هي الأولى منذ توليه الحكم العام الماضي
وسُبِقت الزيارة بمقابلةٍ أجراها وزير الخارجية العُماني بدر البوسعيدي مع صحيفة “الشرق الأوسط” السعودية، أكّد فيها أن بلاده لن تكون الدولة الخليجية الثالثة، بعد الإمارات والبحرين، التي توقّع اتفاقية سلام مع “إسرائيل”. كما دعا البوسعيدي إلى عودة سوريا إلى جامعة الدول العربية، وأكّد أن دور إيران في اليمن هو دورٌ مساعد للوصول إلى حل هناك، نافياً وجود وساطة عُمانية لحل الأزمة اليمنية
