Iranian President Ḥasan Rōḥānī says that his county expects from the administration of President-elect Joe Biden to return to work on its obligations according to the law, pointing out that today “end the dark record of Trump”.
Iranian President Ḥasan Rōḥānī conformed today that what Iran expects from the new American administration is to return to work on its obligations according to the law and to erase all the dark pages which the previous administration from the past four years leaves behind.
The words of Rōḥānī came on a ministerial meeting today, on Wednesday, where he said: “The tyrannical oppressor has fallen in 1979 (a notion to the Shah Reẓā Pahlavī) and today falls another tyrannical oppressor (a notion to American President Donald Trump), who during his reign did not present anything else than sin, corruption and creating problems for the nations and for the world”.
Rōḥānī pointed out that today “closes the dark record of Trump forever, and what this sinister person left behind during his last four years is a drift between the American people to two poles”.
He pointed out that shortly before the inauguration ceremony of Biden the American capital Washington transformed into an army barrack in which thousands of armed soldiers safeguard the inauguration of the new President, “and this existing chaos is the result of Trump’s tyranny and his oppressive behavior” according to his words.
In the same context, Rōḥānī believed that America’s isolation and being alone in the political scenery are the last matters of Trump.
He also mentioned that the American’s positions on the Palestinian matter are not matching with the position of the world, but it has met opposition from important countries, therefore America is alone. The same is true about its position on the nuclear agreement with Iran.
Rōḥānī touched the fields in which America failed to convince other countries to vote for its decisions against Iran, as it failed to keep the weapons embargo against Iran.
On the other hand, the Iranian Foreign Minister denied that there would have been a meeting between Biden’s team and the Iranian permanent envoy to the U.N. Mağīd Tahte-Ravānčī.

أكد الرئيس الإيراني حسن روحاني أن ما تنتظره إيران من الإدارة الأميركية الجديدة هو العودة إلى العمل بالتزاماتها وفقاً للقانون، وإزالة جميع الصفحات السوداء التي خلفتها الإدارة السابقة خلال السنوات الأربع الماضية
كلام روحاني جاء في خلال اجتماع الوزراء، اليوم الأربعاء، حيث قال: “لقد سقط ظالم مستبد عام 1979 (في إشارة إلى الشاه رضا بهلوي)، واليوم يسقط ظالم مستبد آخر (في إشارة إلى الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب) الذي لم يقدم خلال حكمه غير الظلم والفساد وخلق المشاكل للشعوب والعالم
روحاني أشار إلى أنه اليوم “سيُغلق سجل ترامب الأسود الى الأبد، وما تركه هذا الشخص المشؤوم خلال سنواته الأربع هو تقسيم الشعب الأميركي إلى قطبين
ولفت إلى أنه قبيل حفل تنصيب بايدن تحولت العاصمة الأميركية واشنطن إلى ثكنة عسكرية، ينتشر فيها آلاف العسكريين المسلحين لتأمين مراسم تنصيب الرئيس الجديد، “وهذه الفوضى الموجودة هي ثمرة طغيان ترامب وتصرفاته الاستبدادية” على حد قوله
في سياق متصل، رأى روحاني أن عزلة أميركا وبقاءها وحيدة في الساحة السياسية هي الأخرى من مخلفات ترامب
كما ذكر أنّ المواقف الأميركية تجاه القضية الفلسطينية لم تلق موافقة العالم بل واجهت معارضة من دول مهمة، وبالتالي بقيت أميركا وحيدة، و الحال عينه ينطبق على موقفها من الاتفاق النووي مع إيران
وتناول روحاني المحطات التي فشلت فيها أميركا في إقناع الدول الأخرى للتصويت على قراراتها المضادة لإيران، كفشلها في إبقاء الحظر التسليحي على إيران
